Red Fuel Powered by Schumacher Lithium Ion Fuel Packs + Jump Starter featured on Massey’s Top Fuel dragster to start NHRA Countdown
BROWNSBURG, IN – Schumacher Electric Corporation, the worldwide leader in battery-charger technology, has introduced a new
line of compact and powerful Lithium Ion Fuel Packs + Jump Starter under the Red Fuel Powered by Schumacher brand and the red and white colors of Red Fuel will debut Sept. 12-14 in the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series near Charlotte.
Red Fuel Powered by Schumacher will give a boost to Don Schumacher Racing’s Top Fuel dragster with driver Spencer Massey, who is seeded sixth for the start of the six-race NHRA Countdown to the Championship, when the playoff opens at zMAX Dragway adjacent to Charlotte Motor Speedway.
The Red Fuel Powered by Schumacher 10,000-horsepower dragster team won two NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series event titles this season under the Battery Extender Powered by Schumacher banner with crew chiefs Phil Shuler and Todd Okuhara.
The line of Red Fuel Lithium Ion fuel packs include three ultra-compact models are ideal for charging cell phones and portable electronics fit in your pocket and provide extra-long life.
Another member of the new Red Fuel product line is the ultralight SL1 Lithium Ion Jump Starter and Fuel Pack that is 90 percent lighter than lead-acid jump starters and conveniently fits in a glove box. It features a scrolling digital display that gives step-by-step instructions to properly jump start a battery.
The Lithium Ion 360° LED cordless work light and magnetic torch features a three-watt torch function with 360° swivel capability with mounting magnets and a charging point for 120V and 12V.
