Goodyear Returns As PSCA Class Sponsor

LAS VEGAS, NV – For the fourth-consecutive year, Goodyear Racing Tires, a division of Carrol Shelby Enterprises Inc., is partnering with the Pacific Street Car Association to be the class sponsor for the Goodyear Racing Tires Open Comp class. The partnership will also extend to the Street Car Super Nationals IX in November

Goodyear Racing Tires will pay out $150 to race winners and $75 to the runner up at all PSCA events, including SCSN IX and the newly-formed Rocky Mountain Summer Series that will race at Bandimere Raceway near Denver.

“We’re ecstatic to have Goodyear Racing Tires back with us,” PSCA President Mel Roth said. “The Goodyear name is recognized throughout the motorsports world and I can’t thank them enough for their support of PSCA and, most importantly, their support of our racers.

The 2013 PSCA season begins Feb. 8-10 at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with the Ford Racing Record Breaker Nationals, an event that will be shared with the stars of the NHRA Mello Yello Series Pro Stock class, who will be there testing prior to the beginning of their season along with some Top Fuel and Top Alcohol teams.
