Norwalk, OH – Summit Motorsports Park is quickly becoming a second home to Todd Robertson and his Pro Power Motorsports team. Robertson, of Harrison Twp, Michigan, has qualified number one three times this season and has won two of four events during the track’s Friday Night Chaos Series DOOR WARS, including a number one and a win from this past weekend’s event.
This past race was very special to Todd and his Pro Power team, not only because of their performance, but for the performance of Tony Raffin. Raffin, of St. Clair Shores Michigan, campaigns a nitrous assisted 70’ Cuda prepared by Pro Power Motorsports.
“Tony’s not a team car of ours, he’s more of a “house car”, said Pro Power Motorsports’ Todd Robertson. “Raffin’s “day job” as proprietor of three Re/Max realty outlets keeps him very busy. So, we take care of his car for him. We took care of the plumbing on the car and keep her race ready for Tony on a weekly basis. So any success Tony has gives me a “Proud Papa” moment”, laughed Robertson.
Evans to Showcase Benefits of Waterless Coolant
Sharon, Conn. – Evans Cooling Systems (www.evanscooling.com), developer of the only waterless engine coolant, will showcase the benefits of its revolutionary waterless cooling technology for high performance vehicles at the 22nd Annual Performance Racing Industry Trade Show, Booth #5713, December 10-12, 2009, at the Orange County Convention Center, Orlando, Fla.
The Evans system was initially developed for cooling race engines to reliably increase power without the limiting conditions imposed by water-based coolant. Water-based coolant operates close to its boiling point and can ultimately lead to power loss from detonation or component failure due to pre-ignition in the form of piston damage, head gasket failure, or even cracked cylinder heads.
