Your Car. Your Data. Your Choice.™ Returns as Co-Primary Sponsor at NHRA Nationals in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS – The national consumer education and advocacy campaign Your Car. Your Data. Your Choice.™ returns as co-primary sponsor with Parts Plus on the Clay Millican-driven Straightline Strategy Group Top Fuel Dragster for the upcoming NHRA Nationals in Las Vegas, Oct. 31 – Nov. 3.

Millican first partnered with the Your Car. Your Data.™ campaign in June at the Thunder Valley Nationals in Bristol, Tennessee. Since then, he has stayed busy representing the advocacy campaign, most recently during a trip to Washington, D.C. where he, along with other drivers, voiced support for car owners’ and drivers’ right to access and control their car data. Following his visit, Millican wrote a guest column, “Car Data Not Just For Pro Racers” that was published in Automotive News (autonews.com) on Oct. 21.

It’s a simple principle, said Millican: “If you own your car, you should own every part of it – including the data it collects.”

Following the Vegas nationals, the Your Car. Your Data.™ Parts Plus dragster will display at AAPEX—the automotive aftermarket’s largest trade show—Nov. 5 – 7 at the Sands Expo Convention Center. Millican will sign autographs at select times throughout the show and speak on a panel discussion regarding the connected car and car data.
