Weldon High Performance Signs with MotorManiaTV.com to Power the 2023 Webcast Season
Warner Robins, GA – Mark and Joanne Walter, owners of J-Angel Productions, parent company of MotorManiaTV.com, are honored to
announce a new partnership with Weldon High Performance for the 2023 streaming season on MotorManiaTV.com (MMTV).
“We find ourselves in a unique situation in the sportsman drag racing world and at a crossroads in the business of streaming those events in today’s racing and economic environment,” stated Mark. “With so many events moving behind a paywall, we wanted to find the right company to help us keep the streams free to the fans, families and crews of the sportsman racer.
The Walter’s looked for years to find the right company to partner with so they could continue to give exceptional coverage to the sportsman drag racing community. When Weldon High Performance approached Mark and Joanne in the fall of 2021, they never dreamed it would become more than supporting a few races each year. The Walters are very excited about their new partnership with the great folks at Weldon.
“After reaching out to Mark in 2021 looking for new opportunities to reach sportsman racers, Weldon sponsored the 2021 Fall Radial Fest webcast and last year’s annual Yellow Bullet Nationals. The viewership was exceptional! We knew MMTV was the right fit for Weldon and our culture of supporting sportsman racers,” commented Jim Craig, Racing Products Manager.
“MMTV’s viewership is exceptional in comparison to others in this sector of the industry. In 2022, they had 2.9 million views of their content on YouTube with 88 million minutes of content consumed. Plus, the team at MMTV is exceptional, they say what they’re going to do and do it, ” commented Craig.
The History of Weldon High Performance:
Founded in 1918 by Carl Bergstrom, the Weldon Tool Company of Cleveland, Ohio, was asked by the United States Government during World War II to design and manufacture alcohol de-icing pumps for aircraft in support of the war effort. It was from that initiative that Weldon Pump was officially formed in 1942 as a division of its parent company. Two years later, Weldon Pump was presented the US Army-Navy “E” Award for “E”xcellence in recognition of its production of war equipment.
Following the war, Weldon pumps were highly regarded in the burgeoning General Aviation market and the company received many calls from returning servicemen and aircraft manufacturers who were seeking pumps for their own aircraft. With strong demand from a growing industry, the company expanded its line of pumps to include fuel, liquid transfer, hydraulic, lubrication and circulating pumps for the aviation and industrial markets.
Eight plus years later, Weldon Pump continues to support the aviation, defense, and high performance/race industries with a growing line of pumps and fuel system components. In addition, Weldon Pump provides custom engineering services and an FAA-Approved repair facility for aircraft, defense, and high-performance applications around the world.
“At Weldon, all of our General Aviation and racing pumps and components are manufactured at the same facility in Oakwood Village, Ohio, on the exact same assembly line, and under the same exacting quality control processes,” commented John McClure, Vice President and General Manager of Weldon Pump.
