Todd Robertson and His Eaton Backed Top Alcohol Funny Car Team Look TO Bounce Back at Norwalk
Harrison TWP, MI – After a dismal last outing in Joliet during the 17th annual O’Reilly Auto Parts Route 66 Nationals, Todd Robertson is hoping to rebound at the 8th annual Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals this weekend in Norwalk, Ohio.
“Last weekend was rough. I was battling some health issues and so was the car. We had one pretty good run and hoped to build from there but we later found that we had three stuck fuel leanouts. That threw our fuel curve way off and gave us a headache all weekend,” said team owner/driver Todd Robertson.
The “headaches” the team suffered kept them from qualifying for the Route 66 event. This week in Norwalk the Eaton backed Pro Power Motorsports team is looking for far better results.
“We’re really close. It’s there we just need the gremlins to stay away and get a lucky break or two and this thing is ready to lay down some numbers,” said Crew Chief Dennis Kolomyjec. “It’ll come very soon,” added Kolomyjec.
