TNT Super Series Visits Cayuga Dragway’s Quarter Mile This Weekend

Two races, one weekend – Presented by Ian Hill Racing / RPM Magazine!

CAYUGA, ON – Ian Hill Racing/RPM Magazine will present the Joe’s Transmission TNT Super Series this weekend June 6-7 at Cayuga Dragway of Toronto Motorsports Park. This double race weekend marks the Canadian opener for the highly competitive sportsman drag racing series which is based on NHRA’s Super Street (10.90) index class.

Going into races 3 and 4 of the 10 race series, the 2015 TNTSS points chase is heating up with Wellandport’s Chris VanBaalen leading, just ahead of 2009 TNTSS champion Paul Young. They are followed by Sam LoVetro Jr in third, then Ryan Boniferro fourth and rounding out the top five is Jeff Sobczynski.

This weekend’s events are also two more qualifiers for the REVS Full Throttle Powersports RACE OF CHAMPIONS coming up in September. Last year’s event saw Tom Coonly from Blasdell, NY win Saturday and improve his qualifying position in the ROC.

Event presenter Ian Hill is a strong supporter of grass roots drag racing and is a great fit for the TNTSS. “Ian Hill Racing is proud to associate with the TNT Super Series for our third year, this time, partnering up with RPM Magazine to present the series’ Canadian opening dates,” said Hill. “We feel that the TNT Super Series is truly one of the toughest series going.
