TNT Super Series at Cayuga this Labour Day weekend

CAYUGA, ONFor the seventh consecutive season, the Joe’s Transmission TNT Super Series will roll into Cayuga Dragway at Toronto Full Throttle PowersportMotorsports Park for a Labour Day weekend double-header.

With REVS Full Throttle Powersports behind the two race weekend and the points chase the tightest it’s ever been, the sportsman drag racing series will draw some of the toughest competition in the northeast.

David Surmatchewski took the points lead last weekend but once the waiver races are taken into account, JJ Jablonski actually sits in first place with 476 points followed closely by Sam LoVetro Jr with 472 and then Surmatchewski right there in third at 466 points.  Andrew Stirk at 451 and Chris VanBaalen at 419 make up the top five.

Series Director Ted Barnes says the schedule is very busy right now.  “We just finished a double weekend in New York and two weeks after Labour Day, we’ll be headed back to New York for a triple race weekend to end the season and crown our seventh series champion.”

Surmatchewski is also sitting atop the field in the battle for the Performance Improvements Driver of the Year Award, Lubricated by Royal Purple with an average winning package is 0.0375 after 10 eligible elimination rounds.
