The 26th Annual Snap-On Tools Superchargers rescheduled for October 21-22

Mechanicsville, MD – The 26th Annual Snap-On Tools Superchargers Showdown has been postponed to Friday and Saturday, October 21-22 due to the weather. With heavy rains expected this past weekend and an 80% chance of showers on Saturday, there would not be enough dry track time to get an event this size in.

This is the largest independent event ever produced by MIR with racers and fans coming from around the country and Canada. All promotional tickets, the Snap-On Tools hospitality, advance tickets, etc. will be honored on October 21-22.

The full Speed Unlimited ET series will be run on Saturday including $5,000 to win both days in Top ET, just as previously schedule. Due to this being a Dash Playoffs point’s event, Top and Mod ET will run on the 1/8 mile both days.  Points for the Dash Championship Playoffs in 1/4 mile Top and Mod ET and for the Junior Dragster and Motorcycle classes are final and the October 22 date will remain as a Dash Playoff point’s day.
