Teams are getting ready for the Funny Car Fever – April 23-24

Sacramento, Ca – Many of the West Coast Outlaw Pro Mod Association teams are getting ready for the Funny Car Fever event on April 23-24, just days away. 619 Promotions and Sacramento Raceway are preparing the race track for a full weekend of racing featuring Nitro Nostalgia Funny Cars, West Coast Outlaw Pro Mods and Jet cars. Lots of sportsman classes will also be running which include Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, 7.0 Slammers, 7.0 Pro, Pro Gas, Drag Bikes and CIFCA Funny Cars.

The gates will open at 10 am Friday morning and the track will be hosting an open test-n-tune for all competitors from 12-4. Qualifying starts at 5 and the first round of qualifying for the West Coast Outlaw Pro Mod guys will be around 5:30 pm Friday evening.

On Saturday, April 24th, the gates will open at 8 am and the racing begins at 9. The run times for the West Coast Outlaw Pro Mod Association are scheduled for 1, 3, 5 and 7 (Q2, E1, E2, E3), all run times are approximate.
