Team Finals Rosters Complete

The racers on the MIR team look to reclaim title 

MILLINGTON, TN – The roster has been finalized and Memphis International Raceway (MIR) has its drivers for the Oct. 1-4 IHRA Team Bracket Finals that will be held at the track.

“We have a strong team again this year,” said MIR VP and GM Pam Kendrick. “I’m confident we’re going to bring the title back to our track, where it belongs.”

MIR Team 1 consists of the top 13 drivers in both Rick’s Powder Coating Super Pro and B&B Towing Footbrake as well as four drivers from RT Turbines Junior Dragsters that accepted.

The team is led by Summit Bracket Racing Series presented by COMP Cams points leaders Shane Stout (Top), John Castellaw III (Mod) and Justin Poindexter (Jr. Dragster).

The rest of the Rick’s Powder Coating Super Pro roster is Michael Hall, Jeff Bobo, Leigh Hubbard, Tyler Roach, Brad Barclay, Ron Minton, Russell Snyder, J.R. Barclay, Jesse Bobo, Rusty Ashmore, Cody Graham and Brian Anglin.

The B&B Towing Footbrake lineup also consists of Caffey Broadus, T.J. Tracey, David Elam, Billy Foster Sr., Greg Johnson, Kenny Bomar, Harold Shackelford, Gary Roe, Tommy Jackson Jr., Troy Poindexter, Patrick Richardson and Steve Wilson.

The RT Turbines Junior Dragsters team also consists of Tyler Poindexter, Drew Tracey and Devin Johnson.

T.J. Tracey and Cody Graham will be alternates for Team 1 in their second cars.

There are still spots open for MIR Team 2 and racers who have competed at five points events in any class are eligible to participate (an entry fee will apply). As of now the lineup contains Ronald Bowers, Mark Parsons, Tony Newberry, Dylan Parsons, Jesse Rogers, Derrick Rice, John Williams, Ralph Walker, Billy LaRue Jr., Robert Davis, Bradley Bomar, Tara Taylor, Sophie Newberry, Devan Lowe, Brianna Moore and Layna Tracey.
