Sunoco Race Fuels extends sponsorship with Maple Grove Raceway bracket series

All E.T. bracket class sponsors renewed for 2015

MOHNTON, PA – Sunoco Race Fuels has extended its sponsorship of Maple Grove Raceway’s E.T. bracket racing series. The Sunoco Race Fuels Money Trail series will continue at MGR through 2025.

“We are proud to announce our relationship with Sunoco Race Fuels will continue for another 10 years,” said Maple Grove Raceway Vice President & General Manager Lex Dudas. “Sunoco Race Fuels has been an important partner for decades and a strong supporter of our local drag racers.”

All six of the Sunoco Race Fuels Money Trail series class sponsors have renewed for the 2015 season. They include: Gold Rush Trailers (Super Pro), Ciccarone Racing Products (Pro), P.C. Richard & Son (Street), Reading Standard Motorsports, formerly known as Ray’s Yamaha (Top Bike), Universal Technical Institute (Jr. Dragster) and ATI (Stock/Super Stock).

The 15-race 2015 Sunoco Race Fuels Money Trail series is scheduled to begin on May 2 (after new paving on the track — from the 770-ft. mark to past the finish line — is concluded) and conclude on Aug. 22.

MGR will honor its 2014 Sunoco Race Fuels Money Trail bracket racing series champions at its 52nd annual awards banquet on Saturday, Feb. 7, at the Crowne Plaza Reading.

Sunoco Race Fuels Money Trail champions for the 2014 season include: Brock Moshier (Gold Rush Trailers Super Pro and Ciccarone Racing Products Pro), Dave Raser (P.C. Richard & Son Street), Joe Stuebner (Ray’s Yamaha Top Bike), C.J. Ketterer (U.T.I. Jr. Dragster) and Mark Petitdemange (ATI Stock/Super Stock).

Now in its 53nd year of operation, historic Maple Grove Raceway is recognized as one of the leading NHRA-sanctioned drag strips in the United States. MGR’s 31st annual NHRA Keystone Nationals Mello Yello Drag Racing Series national event will take place Oct. 1-4, 2015.
