SunCoast Transmissions Pro Street Shootout $10,000 Payout!!!

Rockingham, NC -SunCoast Transmission and the NHRDA have partnered together to announce the 2013 SunCoast Transmissios Pro Street Shootout at the Carolina Diesel Nationals on July 27th at Rockingham Dragway.

SunCoast and NHRDA will be offering the Pro Street class a guaranteed purse of $10,000 if 16 trucks show up at the event.Over the past few years the Pro Street class has been getting faster and faster with some of the best racing in the NHRDA happening in the Pro Street class. With the NHRDA Pro Street record already falling this season at the Indiana Diesel Shootout the NHRDA and SunCoast Transmissins thought this would be a great time to get together and offer up a big payout for the NHRDA Pro Street racers.

With so many of the Pro Street teams based in the South East it was a perfect fit for the Carolina Diesel Nationals to host the SunCoast Transmissions Pro Street Shootout as it will be at one of the premier facilities in the country, Rockingham Dragway. Rockingham Dragway is considered to be one of the quickest tracks in the county and it will be interesting to see if the NHRDA Pro Street record can get even lower.

“It is great to have SunCoast on board for this Pro Street shootout. They are a company based in the South East and with so many of the top Pro Street teams based down there this was the perfect fit for the Carolina Diesel Nationals,” said Randy Cole, President of the NHRDA.

The NHRDA will guarantee $10,000 in prize money for the SunCoast Transmissions Pro Street Shootout. There must be 16 entries in the class to guarantee this payout.

1st Place $5,000.00

2nd Place $2,500.00

3rd Place $1,250.00

4th Place $1,250.00

Pro Street Tech Card Fee – $250.00 – Competitors must purchase their tech cards in advance by July 26th! (Note competitors will also have to purchase general admission ticket at front gate)
