Roy Hill, Ric Flair headline Express Lane Shootout at Panama Beach Raceway

FOUNTAIN, FL – Two North Carolina icons are set to square off at Panama Beach Raceway on October 29th, when legendary professional wrestler and honorary race chairman “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair takes on storied drag race RoyHill in a match race as part of the Express Lane Shootout presented by Coca-Cola.

Featuring two races in one day, the Express Lane Shootout will contest both a Super Pro and Sportsman race. Car entry is free with the purchase of a $20 general admission ticket, and the Super Pro race pays $1500 to win, while the Sportsman winner will pocket $1000.

“We’ve been looking forward to this race all season,” said Hill. “We set this up when Coca-Cola first came on board with us at the start of the year, and momentum has been building as we approach the date of the race.”

“Panama City is also the hometown of our car owner, James Finch,” Hill continued. “We’re really excited to have him there, along with the folks from Coca-Cola and Express Lane convenience stores, and of course my old buddy Ric Flair.
