Racing memorabilia available in online auction as part of Eric Medlen Memorial Golf Tournament
BROWNSBURG, IN – Race fans can bid on one-of-a-kind memorabilia and many other items as part of an online
auction that began with the Eric Medlen Memorial Golf Tournament earlier this week.
The tournament, hosted by Morgan and Katie Lucas and the entire Lucas Oil family, has raised more than $250,000 for children over its seven years. For the past several years, the tournament has benefited the Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St. Vincent in Indianapolis.
Among the items up for bid are an autographed Wally trophy from Lucas’ victory in Charlotte in 2013, an Austin Dillon NASCAR firesuit, a Richie Crampton Lucas Oil crew shirt, and many other racing-related memorabilia. Plus, numerous Lucas Oil packages are available.
Medlen was a very popular NHRA racer before he passed away in an accident during testing in 2007 in Gainesville, Fla. He loved spending time with children, so in his honor Morgan and Katie Lucas founded the tournament in 2009.
