Quarter Final Finish in Brainerd for Maddern Racing

Brainerd, Mn. —  A good old drag race best describes the early exit for Chris Demke and the Peen Rite / Clean Boost Maddern Racing Top Alcohol Dragster Team in Brainerd last weekend.  The team started eliminations from the #3 qualifying position.

“First round of qualifying didn’t go as good as we had hoped” noted Demke, “we dropped a valve and only ran a 6.18.

“The next two qualifiers, we ran two solid back to back 5.20 passes (5.29 and 5.27) so we were ready for eliminations.  We ran another 5.20 pass in first round and our day ended in round two when we ran a 5.38 against the YNOT Team of Jim Whitely.

“We congratulate Jim, Norm and everyone for their eventual win at Brainerd”.

The Maddern Racing Top Alcohol Dragster Team will next be racing at the 57th Annual running of the Mac Tools US Nationals presented by Lucas Oil in Indianapolis, Indiana, August 31st to September 5, 2011.
