Powerful Performances Planned for Cornwell Tools Night Under Fire at Summit Motorsports Park!

Norwalk, OH – The 47th Annual Cornwell Tools Night Under Fire will be intense, invigorating and impressive, and in addition to all of the elements fans have come to love, The Greatest Show in Drag Racing® on Aug. 3, 2024, will be enhanced in several ways!

The Hooligans Flight Team will perform a dramatic military plane flyover during opening ceremonies!

Famous Funny Car racers Ron Capps, Cruz Pedregon, and Dale Creasy Jr. will light the wicks and wheel their wicked cars wing-to-wing down track! While our beloved John Force continues to recover from his crash at another track, Capps, Pedregon and Creasy Jr. will be joined by a to be announced driver in the John Force Racing PEAK Antifreeze and Coolant Chevrolet Camaro SS, which the team is putting back in competition at this event before the start of the NHRA’s Countdown to the Championship in September!

See fierce and fan-favorite Top Fuel racers Brittany Force, Antron Brown, Clay Millican and T.J. Zizzo blast off the starting line and give it everything they have to beat each other to the finish line!

Russ Lethbridge will climb into his Hellfire Jet Truck and Hayden Proffitt will strap into his Hot Streak II Jet Truck, bump into the beams and blast off with afterburners all aglow!

Fan-favorite Jet Dragster drivers Ernie Bogue in his Beast From The East, Josh Graham in his Eastern Raider, Scott Holdridge in his 50 Cal and Russ Glover in his Southern Living will be as entertaining as ever while gunning for a North American Jet Car Championship!

Rich Hannah’s First Strike Jet Funny Car and Gary Schwartz’s Top Secret Jet Funny Car will be clocking close to 280 mph, and will be ones to watch!

Don’t miss Top Fuel Harley-Davidson Motorcycle riders Ryan Peery, Jay Turner, Tii Tharpe and Randal Andras as they tackle high speeds on two wheels, or wild wheelstanders Steve Harper and his Cool Bus and Rick Ream and his Studebaker Bullet Nose!

Adding to the action will be 8-car Top Alcohol Funny Car, Top Alcohol Dragster and R&R Autobody Top Sportsman fields, plus a 4-car B’laster Pro Mod Shootout field!
