HAMILTON, ON – The Pro Modified Racing Association, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and the Pro Bike & Sled Series is pleased to welcome Aulward Graphics as the Preferred Printing Supplier to the three drag race series.
“We are pleased and welcome Aulward to our series,” said Bruce Mehlenbacher, Director of Operations of all three series. “This is a great addition to the continued growth of our race series.”
Mehlenbacher added that Aulward will be instrumental in providing the opportunity to promote and market the three racing series with its drivers, venues, and events.
“Our partnering with Aulward will allow us to work together in taking the promotion of the PMRA, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and the PBSS to the next level,” said Mehlenbacher. “We look forward to Aulward’s expertise and professionalism in the important aspect of our sport.”
Aulward will be presenting a $1000 award to a competitor from the PMRA, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and the PBSS at the annual champions’ banquet. This award will be presented on a random basis, and each team that competes and displays the Aulward Graphics decal on their vehicle for 2012 is eligible.
Started in 1967 by Blaine’s father Paul Prince, Aulward Graphics has grown and prospered into the largest sheet-fed printer in the Hamilton area, and is capable of providing printing solutions from business cards to hard-cover books. With equipment such as a Xerox 770 digital color press, Komori 40-inch six-color coater, and Bobst 40-inch diecutter, Aulward can handle just about any prepress, printing, and bindery operation.
The company is also a main proponent of fulfillment orders, which entails packaging printing materials for various needs, and produces these packaging needs for clients around the globe.
Adopting a philosophy of merging the value of craftsmanship with leading edge technology, Aulward has adapted to the industry’s constant changes with a heritage rich in quality and craftsmanship.
The business started in a shop in Grimsby, Ontario, and Aulward’s Blaine Prince noted that they are now in their fifth building to meet this growth and expansion. Some of Aulward’s clients include Navistar, Cogeco, and the Good Shepherd Society, along with involvement with The Mackenzie Printery Museum and annual appearances at the Marshville Fair.
Prince said he has always been interested in racing.
“I’ve always worked and crewed on race cars from dirt Sportsman and Modifieds to win-turbo drag cars,” he said. “We struck up an association with Rick Kopp (Burlington resident Kopp competes in the Quick 32 Sportsman Series with his Top Dragster), and things went from there. I look forward to Aulward’s involvement in the PMRA, the Quick 32 Sportsman Series and the PBSS series for years to come.”
As the Preferred Printing Supplier to the PMRA, Quick 32 Sportsman Series, and the PBSS, Aulward will be involved in several printing and graphics areas, including hero cards, posters, marketing packages, and other media-related items.
