PHILLIPS CONNECT NAMED COMPETITIONPLUS.COM SOCIAL MEDIA PRESENTING SPONSOR

CPTV TO DELIVER NITRO SPRING TESTING LIVESTREAM

SPARTANBURG, SC – Phillips Connect, a national leader in semi-trailer tracking and sensor technologies, will serve as presenting sponsor for CompetitionPlus.com’s extensive social media properties. Additionally, CompetitionPlus.com’s TV brand will, for the fourth season in a row, provide live streaming for the Professional Racers Organization’s Nitro Spring Training at Wild Horse Motorsports Park, February 10-12.

CompetitionPlus.com founder Bobby Bennett said the involvement of Phillips Connect will be part of a major push to deliver drag racing news to the masses worldwide. The PRO Nitro Spring Training live stream is just one of the aggressive programs planned for 2022.

“The team at Phillips Connect has been great to work with,” said CompetitionPlus.com publisher and editor Bobby Bennett. “We are so blessed to have a marketing partner who shares the same vision we do about getting the word out, extolling the virtues of drag racing, and doing so with news you can trust.”

“Phillips Connect, the fastest growing trailer GPS telematics provider, is proud to partner of Competition Plus and Justin Ashley Racing,” said Jim “Mr. 300” Epler, Executive Vice President of Phillips Connect. “Phillips Connect sensors deliver true and insightful trailer data similar to how Competition Plus delivers for drag racing.”

A significant part of CompetitionPlus.com’s social media platform has been its CompetitionPlusTV YouTube page which has close to 45,000 subscribers. Drag racing fans will be able to view the live action from pre-season testing to be presented by Phillips Connect and Vita C Shot.

The testing sessions hosted by the Professional Racing Organization will be closed to the public except for Saturday, February 12, when fans who have purchased tickets to the NHRA Arizona Nationals will have the opportunity also to purchase tickets for the on-track testing action. Fans may add on test session tickets to their Arizona Nationals ticket order online, or they may call the NHRA Ticket Sales Center at 800-884-6472 if Nationals tickets have been previously purchased.

“We don’t do a lot of live streaming, but thanks to Phillips Connect, Vita C Shot, and especially Warren Evans [DragRacerTV], we are able to provide live streaming for this year’s spring training test session,” Bennett said. “Thanks to PRO, Chad Head, and the great team at Wild Horse Motorsports Park, we are able to bring the action for race fans unable to travel to the event. Not only will we have the action on track, but videos from the pits.”

Confirmed drivers include Phillips Connect, and Vita C Shot sponsored Top Fuel driver Justin Ashley, reigning Funny Car champion Ron Capps as well as Kalitta Motorsports’ Doug Kalitta and Shawn Langdon in Top Fuel and J.R.
