Options announced for D1 competitors after rainout at MIR

NORWALK, OH – Division 1 Patriots competitors that were in attendance at the rained out Maryland International Raceway Summit Racing Equipment Pro-Am Tour presented by AMSOIL event over the weekend will be provided with a number of options that will enable them to gain points and related in-division claims toward season ending prizes and awards.

The Darlington Dragway day one and two races scheduled for August 31-Septemer 3 or the London Dragway day one and two races scheduled for September 7-9 may be claimed as your final in-division events for Division 1 Patriots competitors.  You may not claim both events as in-division events, nor can you claim one race from each event.

The Monday conclusion of the second day event from Carolina Dragway is not an option for a Division 1 claim, although it is being run during the Darlington event.

If you do not wish to use either one of these options, you may use your MIR entry as your final in-division claims and will be awarded 10 entry points for each event. At that time, the in-division event options will be closed. Please contact Donna Harper at 419.663.6666 at ext 250 or email dharper@feldinc.com if this is the option you choose. You will not be able to claim MIR and attend any other events for in-division points.

If you are a Division 1 competitor and did not tech in at MIR your option for adding in-division claims and related points is considered closed.
