NHRA LUCAS SERIES BACK IN VEGAS
LAS VEGAS – The NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series will be back at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway for the 
second week in a row. The NHRA Pacific Division will host its second of seven events this year and first of two at The Strip.
Garrett Bateman and Shane Westerfield will be looking to repeat their wins in Top Alcohol Dragster and Funny Car from this past weekend’s Denso NHRA Nationals.
Racing categories include Top Alcohol Dragster and Funny Car, Comp Eliminator, Super Stock, Stock Eliminator, Super Comp, Super Gas and Super Street. The division’s Top Sportsman and Top Dragster Series will also be run in conjunction with the event. Tickets are $25 each day; children 6-14 are $5 per day and kids 5 and under are free. The schedule is as follows:
FRIDAY, April 7 – Single day ticket $25 adults, $5 children ages 6-14
Spectator & Pit Gates Open at 7 a.m.
Time Trials & Qualifying begin at 8 a.m.
Top Dragster, Comp & Top Sportsman Qualifying 12 p.m. & 4 p.m.
Top Alcohol Dragster & Top Dragster Funny Car Qualifying 3 p.m.
SATURDAY, April 8 – Single day ticket $25 adults, $5 children ages 6-14
Spectator & Pit Gates Open at 7 a.m.
Sportsman qualifying and time trials begin at 8 a.m.
Top Dragster, Comp, & Top Sportsman at 10:30 a.m.
TAD & TAFC Qualifying 12 p.m. & 4 p.m.
Eliminations begin at 2 p.m.
SUNDAY, April 9 – Single day ticket $25 adults, $5 children ages 6-14
Spectator & Pit Gates Open at 7 a.m.
Eliminations begin all classes at 8 a.m.
TAD & TAFC Round 1 noon
