Elma, NY – Mike Janis qualifies number one at INDY!!! Any fan of drag racing knows the importance of the nationals 
and any racer will tell you that your performance at the famed U.S. Nationals can make you a legend. While Mike Janis’ resume as a drag racer is both impressive and extensive, this run of 5.88 seconds at over 244 miles per hour marks a new achievement for the veteran engine builder and racer.
For several years Pro Modified Racer Mike Janis’ family business, Jan-Cen Motorsports of Elma, NY, has been successfully modifying existing manufactures superchargers and offering performance gains to their customers.
With several years of R&D behind their new blower Janis and his team confidently brought their latest design to the world’s most prestigious drag race for its maiden trip down the 1320 posting a blistering 5.887 elapsed time. After the run NHRA tech inspectors took a good look at Janis’ new blower and gave it a stamp of approval.
“Through our research and development we have been able to modify existing manufactures superchargers and offer considerable performance gains to our customers. Now with our recently acquired CNC capabilities we are able to offer superchargers of our own design to our customers and our competition,” said Janis.
Along with their newly design supercharger, Jan-Cen also offers complete maintenance and repair services for competition based roots superchargers and screw compressors. Jan-Cen can not only modify your existing supercharger for increased performance but also offers rotor re-stripping, bearing updates and replacement as well as fuel injection system set up, fuel injection flow bench testing and consulting. Jan-Cen also offers block and cylinder head repair, cylinder head flow testing as well as complete engine builds and rebuilds.
