BRIGHTON, MI – Lingenfelter Performance Engineering and Continental Tire have teamed up to develop a super-
charged, one-of-a-kind Continental Extreme Yellow C7 Corvette, which will debut at the Hot Rod Power Tour. This year’s Hot Rod Power Tour hits seven cities in seven days, kicking off June 11 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and ending June 17 in Kansas City, Missouri.
Known for its signature attention to precision and quality in Corvette engine tuning, Lingenfelter’s 6.2L engine package ramps the LT1 engine’s performance to over 625 horsepower with 600 lbs. per foot of torque. Featuring a Magnusson supercharger and Borla exhaust, the eye-grabbing AkzoNobel Coatings-painted, Continental Extreme yellow Corvette sits astride 20-inch Forgeline forged aluminum wheels and rolls on 335/25ZR20 Continental ExtremeContact DW tires.
Showcasing extreme customization inside and out, the car features a classic Lingenfelter trim package, while the ACS wide-body kit and AkzoNobel Coatings “Extreme Yellow” artistry, highlighting corporate Continental colors, make this Corvette impossible to ignore.
Full-on aerodynamics, from the ACS carbon fiber extractor hood and spoiler kit, to rear quarter air intakes and lower air diffusers, complete with ground effects, enable the vehicle to hit the road in incredible style.
The Continental Extreme Yellow C7 Corvette features distinctive Lingenfelter branding, including an interior badge and personalized stainless engine badge, along with Lingenfelter’s official certificate of authenticity. The result is a summer-ready C7 Corvette that looks and feels like a race car with the poise and temperament of a daily driver.
The Lingenfelter/Continental Extreme Yellow C7 Corvette will be displayed throughout the year at major race and automotive venues, finishing the year at the 2016 SEMA show in Las Vegas. The vehicle will be promoted in a wide variety of advertising, PR and social media programs.
