JUSTIN ASHLEY RETURNS TO THE SITE OF HIS INSPIRATIONAL FIRST TAD VICTORY

GAINESVILLE, FL – A year later, defending NHRA Gatornationals Top Alcohol Dragster champion Justin Ashley knows exactly what to expect.

Ashley will roll to the starting line at Gainesville Raceway hot off a semi-final finish at last weekend’s Baby Gators event, the NHRA Division 2 Top Alcohol opener, behind the wheel of the Randy Meyer injected-nitro dragster.

“My team gave me an incredible race car to work with,” Ashley said. “We were able to qualify and make it to the semis. This is an excellent way to start off the new season, and we are ready to chase a championship with this Epic Motorsports Marketing/Realty Warehouse dragster.”

Last year’s monumental event for the second-generation drag racer will always hold a special place in his heart not only because of it being his first win but the first victory since losing his grandfather, Kenneth Ashley.

“Winning meant the world to me,” Ashley said. “It was an incredible weekend from beginning to the end. There was a lot to take in on the big stage and being a rookie. For it all to culminate in a win, and in honor of my grandfather it was something I will never forget.”

Now Ashley has the opportunity to challenge some of the top runners in the class for a back-to-back championship.

“Winning this event again would be so special,” Ashley said. “But when you come into a race in this class what is in the past is in the past. You go into every race weekend with the anticipation of winning, and even if it is back-to-back, you are really focusing on the task at hand.”

Ashley has unveiled a new scheme for Epic Motorsports Marketing, bringing awareness to the firm’s new website – www.epicmotorsportsmarketing.com

“Epic Motorsports Marketing will change the way sponsorship money is raised for NHRA drag racing,” Ashley said.

Epic Motorsports Marketing specializes in connecting corporate America, their services and products, with the valuable NHRA Drag Racing fan base. Epic, provides unique and strategic outreach models for private and publicly traded companies as well as individuals interested in owning or sponsoring a race team.

In addition to their sponsorship of Ashley, Epic will also sponsor Barry and Carson Brown, a father and son Top Dragster team. Ashley drove for Brown during his road to Top Alcohol Dragster.
