Foam Glow Discount Deadline Nears
Sign up for Saturday’s 5k at MIR for $20 through Wednesday
MILLINGTON, TN – There are just a couple of days left to register for the Saturday, July 11 Foam Glow Run at 
Memphis International Raceway (MIR) for just $20.
From now until Wednesday July 8, runners can purchase a standard registration for $20 or a VIP registration for $45. After the 8th, the registration fee goes up to $40 and $75, respectively.
Discounted registration for the Foam Glow 5k expires on Wednesday, July 8. So time is running out to register for this race for as little as $20.
“I’m told this race gets pretty wild,” said MIR VP and GM Pam Kendrick. “This is the first time we’ve run this race at our facility and we’re excited to see the kind of fun Foam Glow brings.”
Standard registration includes a race T-shirt and entry into the race after-party. The VIP registration includes a VIP shirt, two LED Jelly Rings, a bottle of FG liquid glow, LED shades, access to the VIP start chute and the after-party.
Foam Glow 5k is a fun-filled experience exposing runners to Glowing Foam and a ton of black lights all over the course. Glowing runners come from all different ages, shapes, sizes, and speeds.
Runner/walkers begin the 5k at the start line like a brand new canvas in white shirts and other clothing. By the end, they look like they fell into a tie-dye machine and are covered with different colored foam that glows under black lights.
The Foam Glow 5k caps a weekend of fun events at MIR, which starts with Thursday’s Test N Tune. Gate for that open at 6:30 p.m. with the track open from 7-11 p.m. It’s followed up by Friday’s Street Warz. Gates open at 8:30 p.m. for that event with the track open from 9 p.m. until 1 a.m. At both events, racers have an opportunity to crack the Memphis Top 10 and admission is $20 to race, $10 to watch and children 12 and under are free.
