Boise, ID – The West Coast Outlaw Pro Mod Association begins the second half of their 2012 season this weekend at Firebird Raceway’s prestigious 41st annual “Pepsi Nightfire Nationals” event in Boise, Idaho.

The Nightfire event is one of the biggest events on the WCOPMA’s schedule and the biggest event for Firebird Raceway as the event winner is granted with a Wally trophy and the stands will be packed with fans all weekend long. As well as the WCOPMA there will also be the NHRA Heritage series Nostalgia Fuel Funny Cars and Dragsters as well as a 4-day bracket race with one of the richest payouts on the west coast. Fans will be treated to nonstop racing action from start to finish every day.

There will be 3 qualifying runs for the 8-car qualified field. Friday all drivers will get one shot at the track at 7:00. On Saturday there will be two qualifying opportunities scheduled for 2:00 and 7:00. Sunday will host the 8-car elimination field with elimination rounds scheduled for 4:30, 6:30 and 8:30.

The pre-entry list shaped up nicely with a combination of roots blown, screw blown, nitrous and turbo entries all racing together which will provide a great show for the Idaho Pro Mod fans!

Follow along with the action all weekend at www.WestCoastOutlawProMods.com or www.FirebirdOnline.com.
