Trackside Systems Announces Acquisition of Accutime Timing Systems Ahead of PRI Show

CANTON, OH – Trackside Systems, the industry’s leading race-operations and ticketing platform, has announced its acquisition of Accutime Timing Systems, drag racing’s most advanced and accurate timing system. The announcement comes as Trackside prepares for its largest presence ever at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Show, where the newly unified platform will be showcased for the first time.

The acquisition brings together Accutime’s proven timing accuracy with Trackside’s modern digital operations, which include point-of-sale systems, ticketing systems, and more. Together, the two companies will provide the drag racing industry’s first fully integrated timing + ticketing + race management ecosystem.

The acquisition and integration are being guided by Jason Kennedy, Chief Technology Officer of Trackside Systems, who brings more than 20 years of enterprise IT and software engineering experience. Kennedy’s years of experience as a road racing promoter led to the creation of Trackside after identifying major technology gaps in motorsports operations.
