Jason Harris Sweeps Snowbird Outlaw Nationals With $50,000 Pro Mod Victory
BRADENTON, FL – One day after qualifying No. 1 in the quickest 32-car field in Pro Modified history, Jason Harris continued his dominant
performance by winning the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals presented by Motion Raceworks Saturday night at Bradenton Motorsports Park. The four-time PDRA world champion drove his Harts Charger-boosted “Party Time” Harold Denton tribute ’69 Camaro to a 3.561-second pass at 211.06 mph in the $50,000 final round to defeat Brazil’s Sidnei Frigo, who ran a 3.570 at 211.33.
By winning the first of three races in the 2025/2026 Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service, Harris is now the only driver eligible to win the inaugural Elite Motorsports Million, a $1,000,000 bonus for winning all three races: the Snowbirds, the U.S. Street Nationals in January 2026, and the Drag Illustrated World Series of Pro Mod in February 2026. As the Snowbirds No. 1 qualifier, he’s also the only competitor contending for the Jerry Bickel Race Cars Clean Sweep Challenge. If he qualifies No. 1 at the next two races, he’ll win a brand-new Pro Mod rolling chassis from JBRC. Continue reading

BRADENTON, FL – Following another record-setting day of Pro Mod qualifying Friday at the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals presented by

Harris used a 3.560-second pass at 211.20 mph down the Bradenton Motorsports Park eighth-mile surface to lead the quickest 32-car field in Pro Mod history. The Snowbirds is the opening round of the 2025/2026 Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service, a three-race Pro Mod championship series at Bradenton. The winner of the Snowbirds will walk away with $50,000 and the opportunity to compete for the inaugural Elite Motorsports Million, a $1,000,000 bonus for winning all three races: the Snowbirds, the U.S. Street Nationals in January 2026, and the Drag Illustrated World Series of Pro Mod in February 2026.

Jason Harris Leads The Way in Thursday Pro Mod Qualifying at Snowbird Outlaw Nationals
BRADENTON, FL – Four-time PDRA world champion Jason Harris rocketed to the top of the Pro Mod qualifying order Thursday night at
the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals presented by Motion Raceworks. Competing in the first race of the three-race 2025/2026 Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service at Bradenton Motorsports Park, Harris recorded a 3.560-second pass at 211.20 mph in his Harts Charger-boosted “Party Time” ’69 Camaro to lead what is already a record-setting 32-car field with two qualifying sessions still on the Friday schedule.
Thursday was originally scheduled to be a testing day leading up to Friday qualifying, but rain in the Sunday forecast led race officials to accelerate the event timeline. Pro Mod, Pro 10.5, Limited Drag Radial, and Ultra Street completed two qualifying sessions and True 10.5 N/T and Lil Gangstas ran two shakedown sessions.
Harris, who owns a pair of world championships in both PDRA Pro Nitrous and Pro Boost, rolled into Bradenton with a brand-new Harold Denton “Party Time” tribute livery on his ’69 Camaro. The car also sported some changes in the mechanical department, and though it took some time to get those changes dialed in, it all worked out when Harris threw down the 3.56 at 211.20 mph in the second session. With Doorslammer Records in Hand, Jimmy Taylor Sets Sights on Snowbird Outlaw Nationals
BRADENTON, FL – Few drivers enter the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals presented by Motion Raceworks with more momentum than Jimmy
Taylor. The Tennessee-based wheelman stunned the sport in recent weeks by unleashing doorslammer world-record performances: a jaw-dropping 3.387 seconds at 240.29 mph in the eighth mile and a blistering 5.114-second quarter-mile run. Now, with the Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service set to kick off Dec. 5-7 at Bradenton Motorsports Park, Taylor arrives as one of the most intriguing threats in a loaded 80-plus-car Pro Mod field.
The Snowbirds will again serve as the opening chapter of the three-race Winter Series, and for Taylor, simply being part of that lineup carries significant meaning. After missing the field at all three races last year, he’s determined to prove he belongs in Pro Mod’s most exclusive fields come race day.
“Last year, I raced three races and didn’t even qualify,” Taylor said. “To qualify is definitely a huge deal. We ran a 3.645 and had to go home. I feel like we’re definitely getting in the show. I’m not as worried about qualifying this year because we’ve put so much work and time to get in.” Continue reading

Modified drivers from across North America and beyond will converge on Bradenton Motorsports Park this weekend, Dec. 5-8, for the Snowbird Outlaw Nationals presented by Motion Raceworks. The $50,000-to-win event marks the start of the inaugural Drag Illustrated Winter Series presented by J&A Service, a three-race, eighth-mile Pro Mod series paying out more than $300,000 in event purses and championship bonuses. The Snowbirds will also feature competition in several additional classes like Pro 275, Limited Drag Radial, Outlaw 632, and more, as well as the fan-favorite Night of Fire with numerous jet-powered vehicles.
“The Snowbird Outlaw Nationals has always been one of our biggest races of the year, and it’s only getting bigger this year,” said Victor Alvarez, track owner and promoter, Bradenton Motorsports Park. “The Snowbirds is one last chance for racers in some of the most exciting classes in drag racing to race for big money before the 2024 season is over. Rain Forces Early End to 52nd Snowbird Outlaw Nationals at Bradenton
BRADENTON, FL – An evening rain shower soaked the Bradenton Motorsports Park racing surface Sunday night, leading race officials to
cancel the rest of eliminations at the 52nd Snowbird Outlaw Nationals presented by Motion Raceworks. The heads-up classes made it down to at least the semifinals. The payouts will be split among the remaining racers in competition, and racing for the trophies will take place during qualifying at the U.S. Street Nationals presented by M&M Transmission, Jan. 25-28, at Bradenton.
“This is obviously not how we wanted to cap off what’s been an incredible Snowbirds,” said Victor Alvarez, track owner and race promoter. “We got hit with a heavy rain shower right after finishing the third round of Outlaw Pro Mod. Our race operations team weighed the options and decided it made the most sense to let everyone start packing up and heading home. We’re splitting the payouts for all classes. Everyone left in competition will get the opportunity to race for the trophy in a couple months at the U.S. Street Nationals.
“We had an incredible fan turnout for our Night of Fire on Saturday,” Alvarez added. “The energy was amazing. I’m blessed to host these events with my amazing team and our family of racers and fans.”
