Motorsports Community Raises $13,000 for Riley Kids at Return of Rev ‘n Roll Event
INDIANAPOLIS – The reimagined Rev ‘n Roll for Riley Children’s Foundation brought the motorsports community together for an evening
of bowling and fun on Wednesday night at Western Bowl in Indianapolis, ultimately raising $13,000 for the nationally-ranked children’s hospital foundation. A star-studded lineup of drivers from NHRA, INDYCAR, USAC, and other professional series joined current and alumni Riley Kids, racing industry professionals, and friends and fans for a memorable night of giving, serving as a purpose-driven kickoff to the annual Performance Racing Industry show, which got underway this morning.
After opening ceremonies and driver introductions, the celebration began with a ceremonial “first roll,” led by Alexis DeJoria, Buddy Hull, Lex Joon, Alexander Rossi, Tony Stewart, Ida Zetterström, and others, who paired up with Riley Kids to officially open the event.
Participants enjoyed the evening decked out in specially designed, nitro-inspired bowling shirts supplied by ProThings. Fundraising efforts were further boosted thanks to the support of Joe and PJ Maynard, owners of Brownsburg-based JCM Racing, as well as AB Motorsports, Arrow McLaren, Bandero Premium Tequila, Impact Racing, NHRA, Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing, Summit Racing Equipment, and others, who contributed items to the silent auction, helping to further the event’s impact. Indianapolis Motorsports Community Asked to Rally for Riley as ‘Rev n Roll’ Makes PRI Week Return
BROWNSBURG, IN – A long-standing tradition, the annual ‘Rev n Roll’ benefiting Riley Children’s Foundation, returns to the PRI schedule
in 2025 after a six-year hiatus. The beloved fundraising event, taking place on December 10th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m., served for many years as an unofficial kickoff to the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) show’s week of activities, where local motorsports fans could mingle and bowl alongside their favorite race car drivers, all for a great cause. COVID curtailed the event after 2019, but now, two Indianapolis residents and longtime Riley supporters, Mike Lewis and Hali Warnick, are spearheading its revival with support from Brownsburg-based NHRA team, JCM Racing.
“This was such a fun event that everyone looked forward to every year,” said Lewis, Vice President of JCM Racing. “Hali, Donna Fischer (Riley Children’s Foundation Director of Community Fundraising Programs), and I worked on this event together for so many years, and we all have such fond memories of Riley Kids and the racers, it was important to us to try and get it rolling again.” Continue reading
