Jim Campisano Joins ProMedia Sales Team
Santa Ana, CA – ProMedia Events & Publishing is pleased to announce that Jim Campisano has joined ProMedia as 
Director of Sales. Effective immediately, Campisano will be working closely with the ProMedia sales staff as well as Race Pages editor Mike Galimi and Fastest Street Car editor Steve Baur. As a 30-year industry veteran, early NMRA supporter and former NMCA racer, Campisano is well acquainted with ProMedia events and magazines.
“Jim will be an integral part of our future as our events continue to see double-digit growth and dramatically increased participation and fan attendance,” said ProMedia President and CEO Steve Wolcott. “He has hit the ground running and has already contacted key clients. We’re thrilled to have Campy on our sales staff.”
Campisano’s career in the automotive industry began as a copy editor in the late ‘80s after a five-year stint as a sportswriter. From there, he joined the Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords team as Editor and Editorial Director where he grew the magazine into one of the largest Ford publications in the world. During his time at MMFF, Campisano realized the need for a winter Ford-only race in a warm climate and the “Fun Ford Weekend” series was born. Campisano campaigned an SVT Mustang Cobra project car in the Modular Motor class and it was this series that spawned the NMRA Spring Break Shootout in Bradenton, Florida, now in it’s 23rd year.
Tyler Crossnoe Joins NMRA/NMCA Event Team
Santa Ana, CA – ProMedia Events & Publishing is pleased to announce that Tyler Crossnoe has joined the 
NMRA/NMCA event team as Race Master. Crossnoe will be working closely with recently hired Competition Director Kurt Johnson, Chief Starter T.J. “El Prepe” Bailey, Race Operations Director Gene Bergstrom and General Manger Rollie Miller at most of the events in 2017.
As Race Master, Crossnoe will be responsible for pre-event track prep at NMRA and NMCA partner tracks. He will also be working with Johnson and Bailey on track prep during each event, while running the ready line and working directly with staging team members Daniel Rosner, Kevin Lamphere and Chuck Danbom.
Crossnoe’s work history includes Drag Strip Manager at Memphis International Raceway in 2014 as well as Traction Consultant Specialist for VP Racing Fuels, the official fuel of the NMRA and NMCA. He’s acted as promoter of the Outlaw Street Car Reunion drag radial event and is co-owner of Southern Speed Promotions. Crossnoe’s company, Dream Team Traction Consulting, has provided assistance to the NMRA/NMCA event team in the past with notably good results that have been greatly appreciated by staff and racers.
High-Octane Hold’em Race Wrap for the 5th Annual Energy Suspension NMCA West Street Car Nationals
Santa Ana, CA – With this third race of the season, the stakes are greater as championship points become scarce and 
racers need to make every round count. The 5th Annual Energy Suspension NMCA West Street Car Nationals featured several racers who pulled away from the rest of the pack, while others found it hard to dominate the competitive fields.
In Fastest Street Car Pro Mod, Mack Moffat put an end to Greg Seth-Hunters dream of a perfect season. In the final round, Moffat took the starting-line advantage and would go on to take the win, 5.17 to 6.03 over Seth-Hunter.
ProCharger Limited Street saw James Lawrence’s 2001 Camaro continue to dominate the field despite a number of set backs that the team had to work through. Johnny Coleman had set a stout pace in qualifying at 4.67, but it was Lawrence and Ryan Jones who prevailed over the field and faced off in the final. The lights were really close, and so was the finish, with Lawrence edging out Jones, 4.82 to 4.95.
NMCA Announces 2017 Event Schedule
Santa Ana, CA – The National Muscle Car Association (NMCA) is proud to announce the official event schedule for 
the 2017 season. With six jam-packed events that blanket the heartland of America, the NMCA is quickly becoming the largest and most popular muscle car drag racing series in the country. The family-friendly events have something for every fan.

ProMedia Names Lonnie Grim as NMRA, NMCA and NMCA WEST Event Technical Director
Santa Ana, CA – ProMedia Events & Publishing is pleased to announce the promotion of Lonnie Grim to the post of 
Event Technical Director for the NMRA, NMCA, and NMCA WEST event series. Grim is currently the Technical Director for the Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series and will continue those duties as well. Lonnie Grim
Grim is no rookie when it comes to technical operations at racing events; he is a 20-year veteran in the sport of drag racing, assuming many roles through those years. The Arkansas resident currently holds an NHRA Silver level SFI certification and has been an NMRA/NMCA tech inspector since 2007. In addition to sitting on various SFI and NHRA councils, Grim is just as experienced in the driver’s seat after spending seven years as a full-time Sportsman racer in NHRA drag racing and he also operates Lonnie Grim Motorsports, a multi-faceted drag racing and street rod custom shop.
“Promoting Lonnie to the Event Technical Director is a great pleasure for us as he has been an important part of the ProMedia family for nearly a decade,” said Rollie Miller, General Manager of ProMedia. “His experience in both the safety and class-specific technical inspection processes are nearly unmatched in the industry.”
10 Years of LSX Performance
Race Wrap for 10th Annual Chevrolet Performance LSX Shootout at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis
Santa Ana, CA – The Chevrolet Performance LSX Shootout celebrated its 10th anniversary at Lucas Oil Raceway 
Indianapolis with sunny skies and scorching hot competition. The event was the second stop on the Chevrolet Performance Challenge Series tour and racers were hoping to grab the trophies and prize money available in the Aerospace Components Winner’s Circle. Also at stake this year for top-ten finishers in the series is a 1969 Camaro rolling chassis plus from Real Deal Steel and the NMCA.
JE Pistons Drag Radial featured LSX big hitters like Mark Carlyle, Anthony Manna, Joe DeDona, and Andy Essary among others. Manna posted a 4.51 to take number-one qualifier status, and in the final, it was Manna squaring off against Mark Carlyle’s Atomic Orange Corvette. When the lights came down, Manna chopped the Tree with a .000 light. Carlyle wasn’t far behind with a .045, but his Corvette knocked off the tires seconds into the run while Manna stormed to a 4.55 at 181 mph for the win.

13th Annual NMRA Ford SuperNationals brings wild heads up drag racing, TV stars, grudge racing, jet dragsters, all-Ford car show and more on June 10-12
Santa Ana, CA – Located right outside of Columbus, OH, National Trail Raceway is getting ready for one of the 
biggest all-Ford motorsport events of the year! The 13th Annual NMRA Ford SuperNationals is coming June 10-12 with the World’s Fastest Fords, Street Outlaws TV stars, after hours Grudge Night, jet dragsters and the most exciting side-by-side drag racing in the country! If you’re a Ford Mustang fan, you don’t want to miss this wild weekend of wheel-standing madness! There’s something for every Ford fan, on and off the track, with a giant manufacturers’ midway, all-Ford car show and swap meet on Saturday and Sunday. With kids 12 and under free, it’s also a perfect family-friendly event.
The NMRA Keystone Automotive Ford Nationals brings thrilling heads up drag racing between the original Street Outlaws, wild Renegades and many other all-Ford drag racing classes plus Bobby Ducote from Street Outlaws New Orleans and Mike Murillo from House of Grudge. Ducote will bring his small tire ’71 Maverick “Lil’ Legend” and Murillo will show off “Lafawnduh”, a turbocharged ’93 Mustang. These stars of the grudge scene will be available all day Saturday and Sunday to meet their fans and sign autographs. NMRA Grudge Night will begin after the regular schedule on Saturday night with both Ducote and Murillo presiding over the activities.

Race Wrap for 16th Annual WyoTech NMRA Ford Motorsport Nationals presented by Juggernaut Power at Maple Grove Raceway
Santa Ana, CA – The cold and wet weather might have dampened the mood at the 16th Annual WyoTech NMRA Ford 
Motorsport Nationals presented by Juggernaut Power, but NMRA racers refused to give up and forged ahead with shortened-qualifying rounds and a little extra hustle in the program. Thanks to the Maple Grove Raceway staff and the cooperation of the racers about two-thirds of the scheduled racing program was completed in just a day-and-a-half of on-track competition. The short weekend brought several record-setting runs in Coyote Stock, Coyote Modified, Factory Stock and others. In fact, Joel Greathouse ran a 4.36 ET driving the Johnston family Mustang to set a wicked fast record in the Street Outlaw class.
