Lemons Headers Joins Musi Racing as Sponsor and Official Header of Pat Musi Racing Engines
MOORESVILLE, NC — The new year means a new major associate sponsor for Pat Musi Racing Engines and the Musi Racing team, as
Lemons Headers has officially been added as a new partner.
The company, which is based in Paso Robles, CA, will become the official header of Pat Musi Racing Engines, and their industry-leading headers will be installed on the entire Musi Racing stable of cars, including “Bonnie,” “Norma Jean,” Pat Musi’s personal ’67 Camaro, as well as the upcoming Vic Edelbrock tribute Chevelle that Musi is in the process of completing.
Musi has always appreciated the brand’s impressive attention to detail when it came to their headers, while Lemons Headers found themselves with a long list of clients using Musi engines, which all meant a partnership between the two companies was the next natural step.
“It’s a brand new partner for us and it is really neat to build these relationships,” Musi said. “We’re really excited to team up with Lemons Headers. They’re big out on the West Coast and they want to expand to this side of the country. They really trust me and when they visited our shop, they really liked what they saw.”
Pat Musi Racing Engines and Edelbrock Group® Set to Continue Longtime Partnership for 2023
OLIVE BRANCH, MS — One of drag racing’s longest-tenured relationships will continue in 2023, as Pat Musi Racing Engines and Edelbrock
Group®, a leading manufacturer and distributor of aftermarket performance parts, will continue their partnership this year.
It’s a pivotal relationship that has spanned more than two decades, with the longtime partnership set to extend through the 2023 race season.
The collaborative Edelbrock/Musi Signature product line is set to continue as well, including the popular Edelbrock/Musi 555 crate engine. It’s also been a meaningful relationship for Pat Musi, who worked closely with late owner Vic Edelbrock, and has continued to see tremendous benefits of partnering with the industry powerhouse.
“It means a lot to me to continue our partnership with Edelbrock,” Pat Musi said. “Vic Edelbrock taught me a lot about business and we had a great relationship, and to see it continue with their team for more than 20 years is a great thing. They believe in what we’re doing and they’re behind us 100 percent. The products we’ve developed with them have looked really good and I believe we have even bigger and better things coming out, so that’s going to be really cool.”
Musi Racing Looks to Keep Rolling as Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings Season Resumes in Tulsa
TULSA, OK — After nearly two months off, the Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings season is set to continue this weekend at Tulsa Raceway Park
in Tulsa, Okla., and Lizzy Musi and the Musi Racing team are ready to pick up where they left off in Houston back in June.
Musi advanced to the final round at both races in Houston in late June in her Edelbrock and Lucas Oil-powered “Bonnie” Camaro, moving up to third in points in the process. A seven-week break put that momentum on hold, but things get back to a frenetic pace in a hurry and the Musi Racing team is eager to get going.
“We’re ready and we’re excited to get back to this kind of racing,” Pat Musi said. “This is what we like to do. We did some testing and got some things sorted out that were bugging us in the car. Hopefully we can continue to pick up a little bit, but we went to two finals in Houston. We know we’ve got a good car and a good driver, so we’re ready to go.”
Power certainly isn’t a problem in the Pat Musi Racing Engines Camaro, it’s simply a matter of refining it in all the right places on the track while going against a loaded NPK field. Musi liked the results from testing and the team isn’t backing down from chasing a championship, either.

Musi Racing Starts 2022 No Prep Kings Season with a Runner-Up Finish
MOORESVILLE, NC — The 2022 season in the Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings series is off and running, and the opener couldn’t have gone
much better for Lizzy Musi and Musi Racing.
Facing off against the top competition in the series, Musi advanced to the final round in her Edelbrock and Lucas Oil-powered “Bonnie” Camaro at Palm Beach International Raceway in Jupiter, Fla., continuing the momentum the team built with a pair of late-season wins last year.
But that wasn’t the only measure of success for the Musi Racing team, as they called the shots for David Gates’ impressive win the Future Street Outlaws class. Gates borrowed Musi’s “Aftershock” Camaro and with the guidance of the Musi Racing team, he rolled to the victory to finish off a majorly impressive opening weekend for everyone involved.
“We would have liked to win with Lizzy, but we just missed it a little in the final,” Pat Musi said. “But everyone here is running good and we had to take out three hitters just to make the final. We’ve done a lot of work on the car and everything is going pretty good. As for David, he needed a car and we came up with the plan. We finally got that car figured out a little bit and it showed in that class, so that was pretty exciting as well.”

Lizzy Musi Closes Out Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings Season with Team Attack Win, Top-Five Points Finish
MOORESVILLE, NC — There was some early-season adversity, but Lizzy Musi and the Musi Racing team finished the 2021 Street Outlaws:
No Prep Kings season in remarkable fashion, capping off an impressive year for the team and star driver.
After two late-season wins and a runner-up in their Edelbrock and Lucas Oil-powered “Bonnie” Camaro, Musi won the No Prep Kings Team Attack at last weekend’s finale in Bradenton, FL.
It closes out a top-five finish in the talent-heavy circuit and came after the team showed tremendous resolve in recovering from a top-end crash in Darlington, SC, and debuting a new car in the middle of the year.
“We had such a rocky start and didn’t have the new car at the beginning of the year,” Pat Musi said. “We didn’t do really well at the first couple races and about the time we had things on track, we had that hiccup and the crash with the new car. But the big story is going 45 days from the crash to the winner’s circle. That was pretty impressive and everything really came together to end the year. Lizzy and this whole team just really worked hard.”
Lizzy Musi Drives ‘Bonnie’ to Second Straight Win at Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings in Denver
MORRISON, CO — Despite the challenge of racing at altitude in a nitrous car, Lizzy Musi and the Musi Racing team continued to roll,
winning their second straight Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings race with an impressive performance at Bandimere Speedway near Denver, CO.
Musi knocked off veteran Jeff Lutz in the final round in her Edelbrock and Lucas Oil-powered “Bonnie” Camaro to cap off a stellar weekend on Thunder Mountain. It followed their standout performance in Tuscon the previous week, as the team has run roughshod over the competition at two challenging facilities.
“It was a great weekend and we’ve got a great hot rod,” Pat Musi said. “We had to lean on the motor pretty hard, but the car is working about as good as you could ever want. Lizzy is driving well and it’s just a really good deal all the way around. I knew we had a hot rod when we left Tuscon and I think it’s only going to get better.”
The Pat Musi Racing Engines-powered Camaro and the team have been close to flawless the past two races following the triumphant return of “Bonnie” in Tuscon.
