NHRA BREAKFAST AT 2025 SEMA SHOW FEATURES CHAMPS, A VISIONARY AND THE GOAT HEADING TO 75TH ANNIVERSARY SEASON
INDIANAPOLIS – Always one of the highlights of the annual SEMA Show, the NHRA Breakfast is set for Wednesday, Nov. 5 at the
Westgate Las Vegas Ballrooms A & B. The breakfast will host a pair of NHRA champs, a visionary in the sport and one of the greatest drivers in NHRA history as part of a special theme: “NHRA’s 75th: Champions, A Visionary and the GOAT.”
The NHRA Breakfast takes place from 7:30-9 a.m. and will feature reigning Funny Car world champion Austin Prock, three-time world champ Ron Capps, Summit Motorsports Park’s visionary owner Bill Bader Jr. and one of the greatest racers of all time, the legendary Don Garlits.
The special topic, “NHRA’s 75th: Champions, A Visionary and the GOAT,” will help build further anticipation for NHRA’s special 75th anniversary season in 2026. NHRA, GameMill Entertainment, and Concrete Software Announce Official NHRA Drag Racing Mobile Game Coming Summer 2026
INDIANAPOLIS – The National Hot Rod Association (NHRA), in collaboration with Concrete Software and GameMill Entertainment, today
announced the development of the official NHRA Drag Racing mobile game, launching worldwide on iOS and Android in Summer 2026.
Built on 75 years of NHRA drag racing history and designed for both lifelong fans and gamers, the new title captures the speed, strategy, and adrenaline of NHRA drag racing —bringing the roar of nitro and the rush of the dragstrip straight to players’ phones.

NHRA SCORES ITS MOST-WATCHED TELECAST ON RECORD WITH TEXAS NHRA FALLNATIONALS ON FOX
INDIANAPOLIS – The NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series enjoyed the most-watched broadcast in NHRA history, as the Texas NHRA
FallNationals drew 2.065 million viewers on FOX for Sunday’s eliminations coverage from Texas Motorplex.
Airing as the fourth of six races in the Countdown to the Championship playoffs, NHRA scored its most-viewed telecast on record, also reaching an impressive peak audience of 3.631 million viewers for the event.
This follows an impressive FOX viewership for the prestigious 71st annual Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals, which drew 1.036 million viewers and was the most-viewed live U.S. Nationals telecast in NHRA history. Sunday’s broadcast from Texas Motorplex to close out the Stampede of Speed was also the first time a single NHRA broadcast drew more than two million viewers.
“This record-setting broadcast is a testament to an exceptional production team – truly the best in the business at delivering drag racing action to our loyal fans with unmatched commitment and passion for the broadcast,” NHRA Vice President of Broadcast Steve Reintjes said.

ENNIS, TX – Funny Car points leader Austin Prock rolled to his ninth win of the season on Sunday at Texas Motorplex for John Force
Racing, defeating Ron Capps in the final round of the 40th annual Texas NHRA FallNationals.
Doug Kalitta (Top Fuel), Dallas Glenn (Pro Stock) and Richard Gadson (Pro Stock Motorcycle) also won the 18th of 20 races during the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season, as all four points leaders celebrated victories at the fourth of six races in the Countdown to the Championship playoffs.
Prock went 3.959-seconds at 328.30 mph in his 12,000-horsepower Cornwell Tools Chevrolet SS, powering past Capps’ run of 4.405 at 199.80 to move a step closer to his second straight world championship. It’s Prock’s ninth win of the season and the 21st in his career, as well as his first career victory at the famed Texas Motorplex.
Prock, who qualified No. 1, defeated Blake Alexander, Spencer Hyde and Chad Green to reach the final before putting together a dominant performance in the final round. After starting the weekend just 20 points ahead of Matt Hagan, who fell in the first round, Prock had a remarkable answer in Dallas, making the quickest run in every round of eliminations and the last three rounds of qualifying. PROCK, LANGDON, ANDERSON & GADSON QUALIFY NO. 1 AT TEXAS NHRA FALLNATIONALS
ENNIS, TX – Funny Car points leader Austin Prock stayed in the top position in front of a huge crowd on Saturday at Texas Motorplex,
claiming his sixth No. 1 qualifier of the season at the 40th annual Texas NHRA FallNationals.
Shawn Langdon (Top Fuel), Greg Anderson (Pro Stock) and Richard Gadson (Pro Stock Motorcycle) also qualified No. 1 at the 18th of 20 races during the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season and the fourth of six races in the Countdown to the Championship playoffs.
Prock’s run of 3.876-seconds at 336.07 mph in his 12,000-horsepower Cornwell Tools Chevrolet SS from Friday handed the reigning champion his 24th career top spot. Saturday was encouraging for Prock as well, as he made two outstanding runs in the heat, including an impressive 3.934 at 330.18 to close out the day.
He’ll open eliminations against Blake Alexander, looking to win at Texas Motorplex for the first time in his career after making the quickest pass in three of the four qualifying sessions. Continue reading

LANGDON, PROCK, ANDERSON & GADSON GRAB PROVISIONAL NO. 1 SPOTS AT TEXAS NHRA FALLNATIONALS
ENNIS, TX – Top Fuel’s Shawn Langdon made the quickest run on Friday at Texas Motorplex, racing to the provisional No. 1 spot at the 40th
annual Texas NHRA FallNationals and earning the $15,000 bonus check as part of “JEGS Friday Night Live.”
Austin Prock (Funny Car), Greg Anderson (Pro Stock) and Richard Gadson (Pro Stock Motorcycle) are also provisional No. 1 qualifiers at the 18th of 20 races during the 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season and the fourth of six races in the Countdown to the Championship playoffs.
Langdon went 3.684-seconds at 338.88 mph in his 12,000-horsepower Kalitta Air 25th anniversary dragster as he looks to qualify No. 1 for the first time this season and 22nd time in his career. Langdon won Dallas’ “Battle for the Saddle” against a loaded Top Fuel field and will need a big weekend – including his first career victory at Texas Motorplex – to stay in the championship hunt.
He’s currently third in points behind Justin Ashley and teammate Doug Kalitta, and Langdon likely needs a win to stay in the championship mix. Continue reading
PRO STOCK’S GREG ANDERSON EYES MORE DALLAS SUCCESS AT TEXAS NHRA FALLNATIONALS
ENNIS, TX – Reigning Pro Stock world champion Greg Anderson earned another win two weeks ago in St. Louis and as the NHRA Mission
Foods Drag Racing Series heads to Dallas for the 40th annual Texas NHRA FallNationals at the famed Texas Motorplex to close out the Stampede of Speed, he has his eye on another Dallas win and, potentially, another world title.
Anderson, the winningest Pro Stock driver in NHRA history, has 112 event wins to his credit, including most recently at World Wide Technology Raceway when he won the third race of the Countdown to the Championship playoffs.
Anderson and his HendrickCars.com Chevrolet Camaro team have won six races so far in 2025. With his sights set on a seventh championship, he is ready to return to Texas Motorplex in search of his seventh NHRA FallNationals title.
“Going to Dallas for me every year, just on its own is a confidence boost,” said Anderson. “I love racing there. I love everything about the week, everything about it is great. STAMPEDE OF SPEED AND TEXAS NHRA FALLNATIONALS BRINGS OUT THE BEST IN FUNNY CAR’S MATT HAGAN
ENNIS, TX – Fresh off a win in St. Louis that has him right in the thick of the championship hunt, nobody is looking forward to returning to
Texas Motorplex more than Funny Car standout Matt Hagan.
The four-time champ has enjoyed an incredible run at the legendary track, which plays host to the main event of the Stampede of Speed, this weekend’s 40th annual Texas NHRA FallNationals. Hagan is the back-to-back event winner of the crucial playoff race, but that’s only the start of his run of success in Dallas.
Hagan has advanced to the finals the last six years, dating back to 2019 when he picked up the victory. The veteran for Tony Stewart Racing has won five times overall at Texas Motorplex, which always bodes well for world title chances during the Countdown to the Championship.
Hagan closed the gap to 20 points on reigning world champ Austin Prock with his St. Louis triumph and with his track record of success at the Texas NHRA FallNationals, Hagan is eager to get back to work this weekend in his 12,000-horsepower Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage Dodge//SRT Hellcat.
