SIX-TIME PRO STOCK CHAMP ERICA ENDERS EYES CONTINUED TURNAROUND AT MAPLE GROVE RACEWAY

READING, PA– After a tough regular season, six-time Pro Stock world champion Erica Enders is ready to face the NHRA Countdown to the Championship playoffs, which begin this weekend at the 40th annual NHRA Reading Nationals presented by Nitro Fish at Maple Grove Raceway.

Two weeks ago, at the prestigious Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals in Indianapolis, Enders secured her 50th NHRA win, ending a 30-race winless streak dating back to the season-opener in 2024. With momentum on her side and now eighth in points, Enders is looking forward to Reading and hopes to continue to move up the points standings in her Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage/Melling Performance/Scag Power Equipment car.

“I’m thrilled to have finally gotten the monkey off our back by winning number 50,” said Enders. “Now we can move on and get to work trying to turn this season around. Throughout winning our six championships, we have had seasons where we dominated from the start. We have also had seasons where we really relied on the Countdown and that’s just how this year has played out.”

FUNNY CAR CHAMP AUSTIN PROCK PLAYOFF READY HEADING TO NHRA NATIONALS PRESENTED BY NITRO FISH

READING, PA – Funny Car points leader Austin Prock took a brief moment to reflect on what he’s accomplished since the start of the 2024 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season.

But it was almost immediately back to business for the reigning world champion, especially with work still to be done. He’s enjoyed another dominant season thus far, but heading into this weekend’s 40th annual NHRA Reading Nationals presented by Nitro Fish at Maple Grove Raceway, Prock isn’t letting up.

Coming off a Cornwell Quality Tools U.S. Nationals win, a regular-season championship and a victory in the PlayNHRA All-Star Callout at Indy, Prock is just as eager to keep pushing forward in his 12,000-horsepower Cornwell Tools Chevrolet SS.

The Countdown to the Championship points reset for the playoffs gives Prock just a 20-point lead over his nearest competitor – John Force Racing teammate Jack Beckman – which is all the motivation Prock and his team needs heading into the playoff opener at Reading. Continue reading

TOP FUEL POINTS LEADER TONY STEWART READY FOR PLAYOFF PUSH STARTING AT NHRA READING NATIONALS PRESENTED BY NITRO FISH

READING, PA – Heading into this weekend’s 40th annual NHRA Reading Nationals presented by Nitro Fish at Maple Grove Raceway, racing legend Tony Stewart has already enjoyed several firsts this year.

There was the first career Top Fuel win in Las Vegas (followed by a second win in Chicago), a first No. 1 qualifier, leading the points for the first time and winning the first NHRA regular-season championship.

But there’s still two big firsts Stewart could still accomplish this year – a win in the Countdown to the Championship playoffs and, ultimately, a Top Fuel world title. The first – a playoff victory – could happen this weekend at the historic track, which would put Stewart in a strong position to continue to contend for a championship in his 12,000-horsepower Dodge//Direct Connection dragster.

As the playoffs start this weekend at Maple Grove Raceway, Stewart already knows how important every moment is from this point on. Continue reading
