JEG COUGHLIN JR. AND SCAG WIN FIRST #2FAST2TASTY CHALLENGE OF 2025 NHRA SEASON

CHANDLER, Ariz. (March 22, 2025) – Jeg Coughlin Jr. picked up championship bonus points and a cash prize during Saturday qualifying at the NHRA Arizona Nationals at Firebird Motorsports Park when he won the Mission Foods #2Fast2Tasty Challenge.

Nicknamed “The Natural,” Jeg. Jr. won the first Mission Foods #2Fast2Tasty Challenge of the 2025 season with a pair of holeshot victories over rivals Greg Anderson and Dallas Glenn.

“Going into round one this morning, I had a couple of question marks in my mind because we made a lot of changes to the setup on this SCAG machine overnight. But I was confident it would go A to B, and it did. That was a huge boost for our entire team—making those changes and seeing them work,” Jeg Jr. said. “Pro Stock is so close you can win or lose by just a few thousandths of a second. Fortunately, I’ve been on the winning side of holeshots many times in my career, and hopefully, we can keep that trend going tomorrow.” Continue reading

JEG COUGHLIN JR. LOOKING TO PUT SCAG AND ELITE MOTORSPORTS ON TOP AT NHRA ARIZONA NATIONALS

CHANDLER, AZ – Sitting third in the Mission Foods NHRA Drag Racing Series points standings, six-time world champion Jeg Coughlin Jr. and the SCAG Power Equipment / Outlaw Light Beer team are leading Elite Motorsports as they head into this weekend’s NHRA Arizona Nationals at Firebird Motorsports Park.

“The 2025 season is in full force as we approach the NHRA Arizona Nationals,” said Jeg Jr. “The rain shortened Gatornationals was a good event for our Elite Motorsports SCAG machine. This has given us good momentum as we enter race two and a chance to contend in the first #2Fast2Tasty specialty race of the season.”

ERICA ENDERS AND ELITE MOTORSPORTS LOOKING TO KNOCK OFF ANOTHER MILESTONE AT NHRA GATORNATIONALS

GAINESVILLE, FL – After winning their first Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals last year, Erica Enders and her Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage / Melling Performance / SCAG Power Equipment team are looking for another memorable victory at Gainesville Raceway as they chase national event win No. 50 for the six-time world champion.

“Checking Gainesville off the list last year was awesome. The Gators are a really prestigious race, so it was cool to finally win that. But, that’s the last race I’ve won. Having said that and with the way we finished last year, I feel like we have a lot to improve upon with my car and with me as a driver,” said Enders, the winningest female in motorsports history. “I think going into 2025 I’m going to try to have the same mindset I did in 2022. With the way we lost the championship in 2021 I came out pissed off and ready for battle. ‘No more nice Erica,’ is what I said. I think I’ll have some of that mindset this year.

“Obviously, our biggest goal, and the one that really slipped away last year, is to finally check win No. 50 off. If we could start the season doing that, it would really be starting the season with a bang,” continued Enders who has 48 Pro Stock victories but won her first national event in Super Gas. “I feel like it’s a first win situation where it takes so long for it to come and then once it does, the rest of them just start to fall. We need to get rid of No. 50 and move on and hopefully have many more wins to follow.” Continue reading

And that’s, that’s the PRO group and PRO Promotions. They care about the racers, they care about the fans, they care about the vendors. ELITE MOTORSPORTS LOOKING FOR REPEAT SUCCESS AT THE SCAG PRO SUPERSTAR SHOOTOUT

BRADENTON, FL – Elite Motorsports ended 2024 with six drivers inside the NHRA top 10 championship points standings and wins at 13 of 21 events. The first event to play host to an Elite winners circle? The SCAG Power Equipment PRO Superstar Shootout where Erica Enders rallied to victory. The nine-car team will look to make the same splash at this year’s event held once again at Bradenton Motorsports Park.

Enders, driving for Johnson’s Horsepowered Garage, Melling Performance and SCAG, comes into the event looking to defend her victory from 2024 where she was also the No. 1 qualifier. The momentum carried over to Enders’ NHRA season where she won at Gainesville Raceway for the first time in her career at the season-opening Gatornationals.

“Our sport, like a lot of sports, is all about momentum. I took a lot of pride in winning that first SCAG PRO Superstar Shootout race, the atmosphere was electric. I don’t like the word epic, but that’s what it was for me,” said Enders who ended the 2024 NHRA season sitting fourth with championship hopes all the way to the Finals. “The way that the fans were involved and engaged; coming back from the top end after we won the finals in Bradenton there were, like, just hundreds of people lined up giving me high fives as I went by. It gives me goosebumps to talk about. I loved starting the year off like that.” Continue reading
