DRAG RACE BRACKET BONANZA PART OF PEAK’S BLOCKBUSTER WEEKEND IN CHICAGO

DALLAS – When fans think about the Route 66 NHRA Nationals, PEAK Antifreeze is doing everything within their power to make them also think about PEAK. From being the presenting sponsor of the race, to Jack Beckman’s PEAK Chevrolet SS putting up strong numbers on race day, to having a large number of guests at the track – fans will be able to tell this is a PEAK event. But PEAK is taking this a step even further this weekend by sponsoring Drag Race Bracket Bonanza (DRBB), the free bracket game for drag racing fans.

“PEAK came to us last year wanting to sponsor the Chicago race, their home race, and we jumped at the opportunity to bring them on board,” said DRBB creator Elon Werner. “It’s a priority for them to ‘own’ all parts of the Route 66 Nationals, and they saw sponsoring this event for DRBB as an extension of that. A portion of our players are some of the most dedicated drag racing fans out there, but the accessibility of the game also provides an entry point for the more casual or new fan. DRBB allowed PEAK to be able to communicate with both groups, which is one of the reasons why I think they wanted to come back in 2025.”

In the first year of the sponsorship, PEAK offered up prize packs to the top five overall finishers from the race. This year, they are upping the ante. In addition to the top five overall finishers in the global DRBB league winning prizes, they will also be giving a prize to the 1st place finisher in their #PEAKSquad league. The league was created at the beginning of the season and has been steadily growing with players. There will be a big push in Chicago to encourage all of the PEAK guests to compete within the league. DRAG RACE BRACKET BONANZA BRINGS BACK THE FOUR-WIDE CUP

DALLAS – As NHRA drag racing fans eagerly approach the first four-wide race of the 2025 Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season, Drag Race Bracket Bonanza (DRBB), has announced that they are bringing back their Four-Wide Cup series, beginning with the NHRA Four-Wide Nationals at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, April 11-13.

To separate the long 20-race season into more sizeable chunks for its players, DRBB introduced the Four-Wide Cup last year. It’s a two-race series encompassing the back-to-back Las Vegas NHRA Four-Wide Nationals and Charlotte NHRA Four-Wide Nationals in the spring. DRBB, the first dynamic bracket competition for drag racing fans, allows its players to fill out two-wide brackets for 17 races a year and four-wide brackets the other three. And because it is a free game, fans of all ages can play for fun and the chance at winning cool prizes.

“The four-wide races are one of the most unique aspects of our sport, and fans have strong feelings about them,” said DRBB founder Elon Werner. “Last year we had a lot of questions on if it was possible for our free bracket game to accommodate four-wide racing, and I think we answered that question with a resounding yes. Not only is it possible but playing Drag Race Bracket Bonanza makes the four-wide races even more high stakes for our fans.” Continue reading

PEAK LEADS DRAG RACE BRACKET BONANZA SPONSORSHIP TO NEW HEIGHTS IN 2025

DALLAS – Nothing happens in the sport of drag racing without dedicated sponsors, and that includes Drag Race Bracket Bonanza (DRBB), the free online bracket game. PEAK Antifreeze, a leading brand in the automotive aftermarket, is stepping up their sponsorship commitment in 2025 to include the Gerber Collision and Glass Route 66 NHRA Nationals presented by PEAK, May 15-18, as well as DRBB’s weekend recap email. This newly branded email will now be called “The PEAK Position” and will be sent out to DRBB players after each of the 20 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series races.

“PEAK was a fantastic addition to the DRBB environment in 2024 when they sponsored their home race, the Route 66 Nationals,” said DRBB founder Elon Werner. “We had a chance to connect again at the PRI Show in December, and they said they were interested in getting even more involved, because they saw the value in our player community. When we suggested the weekend recap email, they immediately jumped on it.”

DRBB introduced the weekend recap email after the 2024 NHRA Midwest Nationals. This email essentially closed the loop with players, letting them know who won the race, what the fastest speeds in each class were and more. Every email reminded them to check how their bracket panned out and gave a quote from the biggest “Bracket Buster” of the weekend. Continue reading

DRAG RACE BRACKET BONANZA AND DRAGRACEREFERENCE.COM JOIN FORCES IN 2025

DALLAS – After announcing that Drag Race Bracket Bonanza (DRBB) will be back for the entire 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season, they are now adding a new partner to their lineup: stats website DragRaceReference.com. The two platforms are joining forces primarily to beef up the race statistics offered in DRBB’s “Densy’s Deets” tip sheet, as well as on their social media channels.

“We launched “Densy’s Deets” at the beginning of last year as an additional resource for our players as they make their picks after qualifying ends,” said DRBB founder Elon Werner. “The response we received from our players and sponsors was that this was exactly what they needed to make an informed decision while filling out their brackets.”

DragRaceReference.com is a free website launched in May 2024 by longtime drag racing fan and statistician David Wesolowski of South Lyon, Michigan. He created the website because he saw a hole in the market for fans to easily find NHRA race results for Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, Pro Stock Motorcycle, Pro Mod, Pro Stock Truck, Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car.
