Caruso Family Racing Team to Make PDRA Debut at 3rd Annual PDRA Spring Nationals in Rockingham

Canandaigua, NY – Longtime Top Sportsman Racer, Marc Caruso of Canandaigua, NY will be heading to carusoRockingham, NC for the PDRA Spring Nationals but, he’s making the jump up to the PDRA’s Pro Boost class. Caruso will be wheeling his Mike Janis/Jan-Cen powered Camaro against some of the baddest 1/8 mile racers on the planet when he enters the PDRA’s Pro Boost class for the first time.

“We’ve done pretty well with the help of engine tuner John Vouros and crew member Gary DeHey. It’s been a team effort and we’ve been making some really good passes but these guys in the PDRA are no joke. Just about every time these cars line up there’s a chance a personal best, track record, or national record can be broken. To be able to run with this caliber of racers is an honor and I’m sure it’ll be a learning experience,” said Marc Caruso.

Also making their PDRA debuts will be Marc’s daughter’s Camrie and Ava Lawler. The pair will be running their first nationals at the wheels of nearly identical Top Dragsters. The proven Machines have already taken national and divisional wins with Billy Leber and Pete Maduri behind the wheels.

“The girl’s have plenty of seat time and they’ve been around the team and racing most of their lives. They both raced juniors for seven years and have both graduated from Frank Hawley’s Drag Racing School. It’s a big step for them and for us as a racing team. My Dad Joe, my wife Jackie, and myself are very happy to be able to share this as a family,” said Caruso
