Sacramento, Ca – The Don Carter Motorsports 1953 Studebaker driven by TAFC pilot, Bret Williamson, is headed to Auto Club Famoso Raceway this weekend in Bakersfield, California
looking for their second straight win with the new Studebaker which made its debut earlier this year.
The team is attending the West Coast Hot Rod Association’s “SCE Gaskets Summer Nationals” event this weekend June 4-5. The last race they attended (a West Coast Outlaw Pro Mod Association event) they swept the race after qualifying in the top spot, winning the event and running a track and association record of 5.90 in the first round backed up with a 5.92 in the final round.
The team thinks they have what it takes to set new WCHRA record’s and go rounds, hopefully making it to the winners circle at the end of a (long) night.
The team would like to thank Network Office Systems for allowing it to make it to this upcoming event this weekend. Network Office Systems has been a locally owned and operated organization for over 20 years in the Sacramento Valley area specializing in copiers, printers and faxes.
