Bauer Racing Expanding in 2015 with Continued Support from K-100 Fuel Treatments

Elma, NY – 2015 marks the 50th anniversary of the founding of K-100 and the third year of involvement between Bauer Racing and K-100 Fuel Treatments. To commemorate these events both Bauer Racing and K-100 have made a commitment to expand the K-100 Racing Team as well as share their passion for the sport of drag racing with their local racing community.

The new racing season will be a busy one for the K-100/Bauer Racing team with additional cars as well as continued and growing support of fellow racers and their home track, Lancaster National Dragway and Speedway. One of the most notable changes for touring portion of the K-100/Bauer Racing team will be the addition of Bob Bauer Jr.’s 2014 Wally Stroupe Race Cars built Pontiac GXP. Bauer will continue to compete at both NHRA and IHRA Top Sportsman races in 2015 with select local races at his home track as well as competing in the newly formed Ultimate Showdown Series. Robert Bauer III (RB3) will be back behind the wheel in Top Dragster and Super Comp with a BRAND NEW 2015 American Race Cars/Chromeworx dragster. Additionally RB3 will also run the Ultimate Showdown Series as well as select Quick 16 events at his home track.

While the touring team of Bob and Robert Bauer will basically follow the same series as in previous years; new for 2015 is the addition of a 1965 Chevy II Nova which will compete in two heavily competitive local programs, The TNT Super Series and the WNY Super Rod Series. Driver’s duties will be shared between Eric Fragale and Robert Bauer III.

Both Bauer Racing and K-100 are heavy supporters of youth racing at Lancaster National Speedway and Dragway where they will continue to sponsor the Jr. Drag Racing Program. “We’ve been involved with the juniors with my son, Robert, since 2008 it’s such a fantastic family atmosphere and the kids learn a lot from the competition aspect of it as well as making friends outside of school who have similar backgrounds and interests. said Bob Bauer Jr.
