Bandero Premium Tequila Toyota GR Supra Funny Car Team Looking for More Rounds in Phoenix

Chandler, AZ – Alexis earned her first Funny Car victory during the 2014 NHRA Arizona Nationals.  She’s clinched a spot in the inaugural Mission Foods #2Fast2Tasty NHRA Challenge, contested this weekend.  DeJoria will be looking to avenge her Gatornationals semifinal round loss to her first #2Fast2Tasty challenge opponent, Matt Hagan

Alexis reflects on Phenix, “Racing this last year at Wild Horse Pass will be a somber one. Between the annual NHRA Arizona Nationals event, and all of the years we went there for pre-season testing, I feel like I’ve spent a lot of time at that facility. The Phoenix track holds a lot of great memories for me, especially since that’s where I won my first professional nitro Funny Car event back in 2014. I’ll miss going there every year, and of course, will miss all of our wonderful fans.”
