Alan Johnson Racing 36th Annual Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals Race Wrap Up

Qualifying: Shawn Langdon was the No. 11 qualifier at the Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals. During the final round of qualifying on Saturday, Langdon recorded his best qualifying result; a 3.900-second effort at 312.64 mph.

Eliminations: Langdon defeated Spencer Massey in the first round before losing to Brittany Force in the quarterfinals.

Unofficial Point Standings: With the quarterfinal loss, Langdon dropped one spot to eighth place in the NHRA Mello Yello Top Fuel point standings. He trails seventh-place Brittany Force by 14 points and leads ninth-place Steve Torrence by 20 points.

Langdon on Denver: “It was another tough weekend for the Knuckle Sandwich Toyota team, but we made a little bit of progress during the weekend. Everyone on the team is working as hard as they can to get our tune-up back where it needs to be so we can get back to competing for race wins. We’ll try again next week in Sonoma. Thanks to everyone at Toyota for sticking with us this season.”
