Dart’s Carts Joins MIR Team

Company will be official golf cart supplier and sponsor golf cart races 

MILLINGTON, TN – Dart’s Carts of Jackson, Tenn., has signed on to become the official golf cart supplier of Memphis International Raceway (MIR).

“We’re always excited when new partners join our team,” said MIR VP and GM Pam Kendrick. “From shuttling VIPs to their
suites to getting Cokes to the concession stands, golf carts are the lifeblood of our facility from major events to day-to-day use.

“We’re proud to have Dart’s Carts come aboard and are looking for a long lasting relationship.”

Trad Longeway, owner and operator of Dart’s Carts, a Yamaha authorized dealer, said he is looking forward to the start of the partnership.

“I’m proud and excited,” he said. “I can’t wait for the partnership to start because I think it will be beneficial to both of our businesses.”

In addition to providing carts for MIR facility use, Dart’s Carts will be the official sponsor of golf cart races MIR has during the course of the year.

“We’re building a cart with a motorcycle engine in it for display at those races,” Longeway said. “Who knows we might start a new trend with racers.”

Open since 1999, Dart’s Carts has been operating under Sculley’s Golf Course as a golf cart and utility cart sales and repair company. Dart Longeway and his son Trad are the owners and operators, and have been proudly selling Yamaha and servicing all brands of golf carts for 15 years. Dart’s Carts is located next to Sculley’s Golf Course and McKellar-Sipes airport on Westover road in Jackson, Tennessee, just 3.7 miles off of Exit 76 on I-40.
