On tonight’s WFO Radio, Matt Hagan will discuss the pressure associated with having the points lead with two races to go, his opinion of being in a championship battle with a resurgent John Force, and recently setting the NHRA Funny Car National Record (4.011) in Maple Grove. Hagan heads into this weekend’s NHRA Las Vegas Nationals with a 64 point lead over the 14 time champ, John Force with two races to go in the NHRA’s Countdown to the Championship.

In-N-Out Funny Car driver, Melanie Troxel and Mopar Parts Pro Stock driver Allen Johnson will discuss the Vegas race and Melanie’s “Troxel Challenge”. On Thursday, October 28, Melanie is challenging drivers in the NHRA’s nitro categories to make the 108 story free fall from the top of the Stratosphere Tower to raise money for Speedway Children’s Charities. The “Troxel Challenge” is set for 9 p.m. on Thursday, October 28 at SkyJump Las Vegas at the Stratosphere Tower. Melanie will donate $100, of her own money, for each driver who jumps with her from 855 feet above the Las Vegas Strip. Pro Stock driver Allen Johnson, has agreed to take the plunge and will discuss the jump in addition to his thoughts on a strong finish to the 2010 NHRA season.
