Dinwiddie, VA – Chris Rini in his nitrous-powered ATI Performance Products Camaro scored his first-ever PDRA Pro Nitrous win Sunday night at the PDRA Summer Shootout at Virginia Motorsports Park! Rini’s .006 reaction time and 3.732-second, 202.97 MPH pass gave him the win over finalist Dane Wood. “It means a lot because we put a lot of years into Pro Nitrous prior to this year,” said Rini. “There’s some tough, fast cars here,” Rini continued. “At the end of the day, these are the fastest eighth-mile cars out there. The competition is stiff!” Helping kick the competition including the 5 speed clutchless transmissions, Rini has bragging rights on running the quickest Turbo 400 in the field thanks to ATI.

PRO STREET – Ty Kasper took the win in Pro Street over no-show #1 Qualifier Nick Agostino, for his 2nd career PRDA Pro Street win. “I feel the same as I did last time. I’m so excited,” said Kasper, who went on to thank supporters Victus Baseball, Vibrant Performance, ATI Transmissions, and JNE Automotive. “It feels like the first time winning again. I don’t think this will ever get old. It feels great.”

Darlington, SC – Chris Rini in his nitrous-powered ATI Performance Products Camaro turned out to be big winner this weekend during promoter Keith Berry’s 4th annual Wooostock Door Slammer event.

After qualifying eighth with a 3.69 at 200.36 mph in the 16-car Pro Mod field, Rini drove his ATI Performance Products ’69 Camaro through Kurt Steding, number-one qualifier John Strickland and Jeff Miller to reach current PDRA Pro Nitrous champion Jim Halsey in the final.

In a battle of champions for the Wooostock 4 win, Rini, the reigning Carolina Xtreme Pro Mod champ, took a .020 starting-line advantage and never looked back, leading an eighth-mile later with another wheel standing 3.65 effort at 203.80 over Halsey’s 3.67 at 203.62 combo.

“I love Darlington,” Rini said. “It’s not that far from my house and the track conditions are always killer. It’s a quarter-mile track, so it’s easy to get stopped and we have a good time there. Obviously we were crowd-less this time, but it’s a good race track. It’s a good facility, the people there are real friendly. I guess it’s turned into my home track.”

ATI Performance Products and the NHRA Northeast Division proudly announces a new 3-year deal benefiting Stock and Super Stock racers competing in the Northeast Division Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Events as well as PC Richard.com National Open Events. In this new program (Stock Eliminator & Super Stock presented by ATI Performance Products), ATI will present the winner and runner-up of both classes bonus purse money, which is not product or decal contingent.

Stock and Super Stock Eliminator presented by ATI Performance Products event finalists will receive an additional $500 for winning and $250 for runner-up at the Northeast Division Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Events. At the PC Richard.com National Open events at Atco Dragway and Maple Grove Raceway the winner will receive $250 and runner-up will receive $125. It was great weekend for ATI racers at the NHRA Division 1 event at Cecil County Dragway, where ATI Performance Products, Inc awarded $1,000 each to the winners in Stock and Super Stock as part of the 2nd Annual Jim Beattie STK/ SS Memorial.

Brad Huntzberry took the Super Stock win in his ATI equipped ?87 GT/DA Camaro over Marty Rinehart while the $1000 award for Stock Eliminator was split between the winner, Todd Hoven, and Runner-up, Adam Berberich driving Victor Cagnazzi?s 2015 DS/F Camaro.

It was a great weekend for ATI racers at the NHRA Division 1 event this past weekend at Cecil County Dragway. ATI Performance Products, Inc awarded $1,000 to the winners in Stock and Super Stock as part of the ?Jim Beattie Stock / Super Stock Memorial? ? and both winners were ATI equipped!

Bubba Linke took his ’97 Camaro to the winner’s circle in Stock Eliminator for the first time this season at Cecil County using a Super Damper, Treemaster Converter and Super F ATF. Bubba’s engine builder, Joel Warren, took the top spot in Super Stock with a Super Damper, Treemaster Converter and Super F ATF as well! Long time ATI racer, Iggie Boicesco, added another win to his impressive season with a win in Super Gas. He now sits in first place in the NHRA Division 1 points.
