MORE SPONSORS RETURN TO BACK BRITISH DRAG RACING HALL OF FAME GALA AWARDS DINNER

The British Drag Racing Hall of Fame (BDRHoF) has announced that two more of the 2014 BDRHoF Gala Awards JASON NSRA COLOURDinner sponsors have returned to back the 2015 event being held at the Savill Court Hotel, Windsor Great Park on November 21st 2015.

The first is the Flint Insurance Group that is sponsoring the table wine – as they did in 2014. Flint is an independent broker offering a wide range of high quality, affordable insurance products. The Group specialises in all aspects of Commercial Business Insurance; Motor Fleet and Motor Trade in addition to being able to look after any of your personal Insurance requirements; Car, Van, Home and Travel. Their client base is varied, but all enjoy a professional and personal service. For more details visit their website for details www.flintinsurance.co.uk

Directors Darren and David Taylor, along with long time Flint Consultant and drag racing commentator John Price confirmed their support early in September. David will be attending the event with his wife Carolyn and John will be playing an increased role on stage this year.

David Taylor said, “I’m looking forward to attending this event again. Last year’s Gala Awards Dinner was special and we are happy to support it once more. Many guests will be our customers so it’s great to socialise with them at such a prestigious evening and it’s good to see John so involved.”

The second returning backer – with a substantial four figure sum – is the National Street Rod Association (NSRA). Once again they will be sponsoring the Audio Visual support for the event provided by AMP Audio Solutions. The NSRA is the UK’s Premier Hot Rod Association for owners of Pre-1972 Hot Rods, Street Rods and Customs. Nick Brooke-Langham, the Editor of its House Magazine Street Gasser, was the winner of one of the BDRHoF Sydney Allard Media Awards last year.

Each year the NSRA organizes two of the UK’s largest hot rod show weekends, plus two major auto parts swap meets. Furthermore, in conjunction with Shakespeare County Raceway and Santa Pod Raceway, the NSRA is involved with three nostalgia drag racing event weekends. Chairman, Jason Hollamby said, “We are pleased to be supporting the BDRHoF Gala Awards Dinner again. The event is a welcome addition to the social side of things. As an organizer of several events I know just how much hard work goes into getting such a show together and the BDRHoF Management Board do a great job. The NSRA Committee thinks long and hard about which events to support. Drag Racing and Hot Rodding were promoted by the same group of people in the early years so it is natural for us to celebrate the sport’s pioneers in this way. They were our pioneers too.”

BDRHoF Chairman Stu Bradbury said,

“A big thank you to both the Flint Insurance Group and the National Street Rod Association. Although it is fabulous to welcome new sponsors, in a way it is even more satisfying to welcome back the repeat sponsors because it must mean we are doing something right. Putting on this Gala Awards Dinner is a team effort and our sponsors are very much a part of that team”.
