The Pro Bike & Sled Series Countdown to the 2014 Championship

Pro Bike Rider Ted Glinny – Fourth Place

CAYUGA, ON – Riding his 2000 Kawasaki Ninja in the 2014 Pro Bike & Sled Series tour, Ted Glinny experienced a year of highs and lows.

Ted GlinnyThe former PBSS champion, from Milton, Ontario, started well with a runner-up finish in the series opener at Grand Bend, losing to 2014 champion Dan Cryderman in the final. After a second-round placing at Martin, Michigan, Glinny did not race at the inaugural PBSS event at Empire Dragway, but was back in form for the next Grand Bend race, where he went rounds and was eliminated once again in the final, and once again by Cryderman. For the final race of the year, he was taken out in the first round.

Glinny’s Kawasaki runs a 1425-cc Kawasaki engine which sits in a frame that is stock in front and has a moly rear-half. The engine uses a Lectron fuel system and shifts through a GPZ 1-2 automatic transmission. The mount is capable of turning the quarter-mile in the low and mid-eight second range at speeds over 150 mph. For all the PBSS events Glinny entered this season, he qualified in the top five in the program.

Helping Glinny with his racing is Harry Manovich who acts as crew chief, along with Jay and Nicole Glinny, and Marty Kuiack.
