World Finals for the World’s Fastest Street Cars!

Santa Ana, CA – The 13th Annual FEL-PRO NMCA World Street Finals is the final event of the 2014 NMCA Flowmaster Muscle Car Nationals and the 2014 Chevrolet Performance LSX Challenge Series. It’s the biggest American muscle car drag race of the year and it’s where the 2014 NMCA Champions are crowned! The points race is close in several classes so the racing is bound to be some of the best yet. This is a MUST ATTEND event for racers, sponsors, media and spectators.

Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis was the scene of last year’s NMCA World Finals and it did not disappoint! Records were set and spectators loved the close side-by-side action on the drag strip. This year, the 250+ mph heads up racing in Kooks Pro Mod and Stainless Works Street Outlaw is guaranteed to be exciting. Mickey Thompson Radial Wars, Edelbrock Xtreme Street, ARP Nitrous Pro Street and several other classes deliver wheels up action every time. And there’s something for everyone, including entry-level racers who can join the ranks of Magnafuel Open Comp and Gear Vendors True Street.

Off the drag strip, fans will enjoy the huge muscle car and LSX car show on both Saturday and Sunday, where over 90 trophies will be handed out to the top contenders in the show ‘n’ shine category. A giant used parts swap meet, Manufacturers’ Midway and world-renowned burnout contest adds the amazing atmosphere of this popular event at one of the most famous locations in drag racing.

The Chevrolet Performance LSX Shootout completes the 2014 season in Indiana with five awesome racing classes. The LSX Challenge Series is the premier racing series for street-based vehicles powered by Chevrolet’s LS and LSX engines. All of the racers will be laying it on the line at this event, as it’s the last chance to solidify their place in the standings or clinch that class championship. This event marks the final chance for all of the racers in the Chevrolet Performance LSX Shootout to make their mark upon the LSX community for the 2014 season. With five awesome race classes filled with the baddest LSX cars in the land, the LSX Shootout has grown leaps and bounds since its inception.

For owners of street legal American muscle cars that want to show off their skills on the drag strip, NMCA has a class just for that purpose. Gear Vendors True Street is designed for racers of all levels – from novice to expert. Entrants take a 30-mile cruise to prove the street worthiness of their car. Then, they hit the racetrack for three back-to-back passes. Prizes are handed out for the closest average ET in each time bracket. There’s an NMCA class for just about everyone! An NMCA drag race is the ONLY drag race, outside of NHRA, where winners can take home a coveted Wally trophy. Thanks to the NHRA Unleashed program, sponsored by Aerospace Components, NMCA points class racers (except LSX) compete for these trophies at NHRA-sanctioned tracks, such as Lucas Oil Raceway.
