R&R Auto Body Paint My Ride at Summit Motorsports Park Sees New Format in 2021

R&R Auto Body is known for its design and detail when painting cars and motorcycles

Norwalk, OH – And since 2010, the family-owned facility in Cleveland, Ohio has partnered with Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio to present the popular Paint My Ride program, which sees a successful racer win a custom paint job for their race car or motorcycle at the end of the race season. In 2019, that racer was Edelbrock Super Pro standout Carl Keil.

A different format will be featured for this year’s R&R Auto Body Paint My Ride, which is for Edelbrock Super Series racers in Edelbrock Super Pro, Edelbrock Pro, Edelbrock Sportsman Delivered on Time by TFC Transportation and Wiseco/Cycle Tech Super Bike who sign up for the Finish Line Club and display Paint My Ride decals on their race cars or motorcycles for the entire season. Racers who finish in the top eight in points will be eligible to compete at the first-ever R&R Auto Body Paint My Ride run-off at the Cometic Gasket Halloween Classic XLVIII presented by Harland Sharp, Oct. 13 at Summit Motorsports Park. A drawing will be held to determine first round position, and then names of racers will placed on a ladder.

“Our goal has been to give back to grassroots racers, and we’re able to do that with R&R Auto Body Paint My Ride at Summit Motorsports Park,” said Dave Roemer, owner of R&R Auto Body and a successful Pro Mod racer. “It makes us feel good to work with the racers on a personal level to help them design, and then apply, a custom paint scheme that they can be proud of and enjoy for years to come. This is a special program.”
