PSCA Kicks Off Summertime Racing With MagnaFuel Shootout at the Strip

DENVER — The Premier Street Car Association is warding away any summertime blues for drag racing fans with back-to-back national-level events. The MagnaFuel Shootout at the Strip Presented by Mickey Thompson Tires kicks off PSCA’s trek of the West at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway June 3-4, with the Rocky Mountain Summer Series returning to the legendary Bandimere Speedway the following weekend for its fifth-straight year of drag racing excitement.

The Shootout features all the regular PSCA classes in addition to three Fast Bike and two Jr. Dragster classes while the MagnaFuel Rocky Mountain Summer Series Presented by Paddock Companies is bringing it with Outlaw 10.5, XDR, Outlaw 8.5, and 235 Unlimited as well as Pro Mods.

“To return to these amazing venues is great for both the fans and the racers,” said PSCA President Mel Roth. “Las Vegas and Bandimere have some of the best track crews in drag racing that provide surfaces that are both fast and safe. We’re fortunate to be able to bring our brand of American-made motorsports to the Denver and Las Vegas markets.”
