Entertainment & Explosives Abound at Kelly Night Under Fire at Summit Motorsports Park
Norwalk, OH – Popular stars, powerful cars and pyrotechnics will all be part of the Kelly Night Under Fire, Aug. 7, 2021 at Summit 
Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.
The event known as The Greatest Show in Drag Racing™ is a time-honored tradition for thousands of fans who come from across the country to experience everything it offers.
This year’s presentation promises to be one of the most memorable, with famous NHRA Funny Car drivers John Force, Ron Capps, Cruz Pedregon and Dale Creasy, and standout NHRA Top Fuel Dragster drivers Brittany Force, Antron Brown, Justin Ashley and Mike Bucher, and their high-horsepower and hard-to-handle cars.
Bob Motz, in his jet engine-powered Kenworth, and Chris Darnell, in his triple jet engine-powered Shockwave, will shoot flames and soar down track while fans cheer for their favorite.
Ernie Bogue and Beast from the East, Danny Sullivan and Chicago Rush, Al Zukauskas and Hot Blade, Josh Graham and Eastern Raider, Dawn Perdue and Wicked Sinsation and Tammy Gatlin will blast off in their jet engine-powered vehicles for the North American Jet Car Championship. Rich Hanna and his First Strike jet engine-powered Funny Car, and Gary Schwartz and his Top Secret jet engine-powered Funny Car, will bring even more heat.
Jim Brewer, who is the oldest known wheelstander, will reach for the sky in The Peacemaker, and Richard Hutchins will go wheels-up in Chevy Rebellion.
Top Fuel Motorcycle riders Dave Vantine, Mitch Brown, Sam Wills, Chris Hand, Jake Stordeur, Tracy Kile, Eric McKinney, Ashley Owens and Billy Vose will rev up and rocket down track.
Corey and Kyle Michalek of Michalek Brothers Racing will have their Fund That Flip/The Empowerment Alliance dragster ready to rumble against JP and Phil Gutierrez of Gutierrez Brothers Racing and their Bohr Racing Products and MVM by Galot dragster.
Drivers in R&R Auto Body/DeCerbo Construction Rumble Wars Extreme Pro Mod and KB Trailer Sales Outlaw Dragster presented by Motorsports Unlimited will give it everything they have to win, and ScottRods AA/Gassers will add some nostalgia to the mix.
The exclamation mark will be an enormous and explosive fireworks show, over multiple areas of the park, presented by R&R Auto Body and choreographed to patriotic music.
