MAVTV Motorsports Network to Broadcast 2022 Mid-West Drag Racing Series Season
Lucas Oil Products also returns as Official Oil of MWDRS
TULSA, OK — MAVTV Motorsports Network, a division of Lucas Oil Products, will once again broadcast all eight races on the 2022 Summit 
Racing Equipment Mid-West Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service season. The events will be streamed live on MAVTV Plus, while fully produced shows from each race will be broadcast later in the year to MAVTV viewers.
“When Brandon (Bernstein) and I talked about wanting to partner with the top regional drag racing series in America, we automatically thought of the Mid-West Drag Racing Series,” said Bob Dillner, Sr. Director of Programming for MAVTV. “The cars, the characters and the charisma of the events make this series and their style of drag racing among the top in the country. It’s exciting and I know our viewers enjoy it. How could you not fall in love with the adrenaline-pumping action standing on the gas and going fast with cool-looking machines? We’re proud to have this on our MAVTV.”
MAVTV joined the MWDRS in 2021 as the Official Network of the series and immediately made an impact with the MAVTV Plus live streams of each event. In addition to that, six one-hour shows on the MAVTV Motorsports Network enhanced the series, racers and sponsors by featuring the Stroud Pro Modified, J&A Service Top Alcohol Funny Car, Race Star Wheels Top Dragster and Musi Racing Engines Top Sportsman divisions.
Summit Racing Equipment Extends Commitment to Mid-West Drag Racing Series
TULSA, OK — Summit Racing Equipment, The World’s Speed Shop®, will continue its role as the title sponsor of the Mid-West Drag Racing 
Series (MWDRS) in 2022, series officials announced today. Summit is entering its fourth year as the title sponsor of the all-eighth-mile series that features Pro Mod and Top Alcohol Funny Car, as well as Top Sportsman, Top Dragster and Jr. Dragster racing.
Summit is also continuing its support of series founder Keith Haney and his Keith Haney Racing Pro Mod Camaro. They’ve also joined on as track sponsors at Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park and Tulsa Speedway, both owned by Haney and Todd Martin.
“We’re very excited to be on board with Keith, Todd and the whole MWDRS organization,” said Jim Greenleaf, Motorsports & Events Manager, Summit Racing Equipment. “We continue to see the series grow and add new classes. The competition is incredible. They’re great partners. Our goal is to support racers and to give back to them as much as we can.”
Mid-West Drag Racing Series Adds Top Fuel Motorcycle to Three Events for 2022 Season
TULSA, OK — The Summit Racing Equipment Mid-West Drag Racing Series (MWDRS) presented by J&A Service will add its first two-wheel 
class when it welcomes Top Fuel Motorcycle to its class lineup at three races in the 2022 season. Pingel Enterprises, a long-time supporter of Top Fuel Motorcycle racing, has signed on as the presenting sponsor.
The nitro-burning motorcycles join the all-eighth-mile series’ headlining classes, Pro Modified and Top Alcohol Funny Car, as well as Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, and Jr. Dragsters.
“I think this addition is unreal for the tracks because now not only can they say they have Funny Cars and Pro Mods, they can now say Top Fuel on two wheels and that alone will bring more fans to the stands,” said Keith Haney, series founder, MWDRS. “It shows that we are always trying to evolve to put on the best show for the fans and to provide a great place for racers to compete.”
Top Fuel Motorcycle presented by Pingel will compete at the Memphis Nationals, April 22-23 at Memphis International Raceway; the Summer Speed Spectacular, June 17-18 at World Wide Technology Raceway Park; and the fall Throwdown in T-Town, Oct. 7-8 at Osage Casino Tulsa Raceway Park.

Joey Oksas and Sean Bellemeur Lead List of Champions for Summit Racing Equipment Mid-West Drag Racing Series at Xtreme Texas World Finals
FERRIS, TX – On the strength of a final-round appearance, Joey Oksas clinched his first Pro Mod world championship in the Summit Racing 
Equipment Mid-West Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service on Saturday.
Oksas was one of several champions crowned at the final race of the 2021 Mid-West Drag Racing Series season, the MWDRS Xtreme Texas World Finals at Xtreme Raceway Park in Ferris, Texas. Joining him in winning world titles were Sean Bellemeur (Top Alcohol Funny Car), Anita Strasburg (Top Dragster), Kelvin Brown (Top Sportsman), Jonathan McClain (Pro Jr. Dragster) and Tyler Wells (Sportsman Jr. Dragster).
With an impressive showing, Bellemeur also took the win in TAFC in Texas, leading an event winner’s list that also included Todd Moyer (Pro Mod), Brown (Top Sportsman), Scooter Hamlin Jr. (Top Dragster), Emma Heidkamp (Pro Junior Dragster), Makenzie Roberts (Sportsman Jr. Dragster) and Dustin Nesloney (Pro Mod Slammers).

FERRIS, TX – There is plenty to be decided in the 2021 Summit Racing Equipment Mid-West Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service 
season, which means everything is on the line at the final race of the season, this weekend’s Mid-West Drag Racing Series Xtreme Texas World Finals at Xtreme Raceway Park in Ferris, Texas.
Showcasing the strong parity throughout the classes, all of the world titles will be decided on Friday and Saturday, with close points battles to be decided in Pro Mod, Top Alcohol Funny Car, Top Sportsman and Top Dragster, and the Jr. Dragster classes. With the weekend slated to be heavy on drama and excitement, it’s exactly the way MWDRS officials drew it up.
“The rules are so good in each category that nobody has locked up anything and you always want it to go down to the last race,” MWDRS owner Keith Haney said. “It’s pretty phenomenal. Nobody has run away with anything this year in any class, and everybody is racing for that championship purse.”
Pro Mod’s Joey Oksas Leads Winners at First Race of Summit Racing Equipment MWDRS Throwdown in T-Town
TULSA, OK — Joey Oksas continued his impressive run in Pro Mod, picking up his third straight win with his victory on Friday at the first 
race of the Osage Hotel Casino Throwdown in T-Town for the Summit Racing Equipment Mid-West Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service.
It’s a perfect start to the double-race weekend at Tulsa Raceway Park as Oksas knocked off Jim Whiteley in a pivotal final round to extend his points lead in Pro Mod. Oksas has won every race since the MWDRS returned to action in August in his turbocharged ’67 Mustang, getting the win on Friday when Whiteley went red.
Joining him in the winner’s circle for the first race at the Throwdown in T-Town was Sean Bellemeur (Top Alcohol Funny Car), Doug Wegner (Race Star Wheels Top Dragster), Michael Chitty (Pat Musi Racing Engines Top Sportsman), Mike Labbate (Pro Mod Slammer), Penn Long (Summit Racing Pro Jr.) and Tyler Wells (Zimmerman Properties Construction Sportsman Jr.).

TULSA, OK — Advancing to his third final round in four races, Pro Mod’s Keith Haney knew he needed to finish the job and he turned in a 
clutch performance at his home track to win the second race of the Osage Hotel Casino Throwdown in T-Town for the Summit Racing Equipment Mid-West Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service.
Haney picked up his first win of the season, knocking off Jim Whiteley in the final round at Tulsa Raceway Park to finish off an impressive weekend in style.
Also picking up wins to cap off the second race of the Throwdown in T-Town were Chris Marshall (Top Alcohol Funny Car), Rodney Frazier (Race Star Wheels Top Dragster), Lance Abbott (Pat Musi Racing Engines Top Sportsman), Ron Muenks (Pro Mod Slammers), Colt Saum (Summit Racing Pro Jr.) and Karlee Brundidge (Zimmerman Properties Construction Sportsman Jr.).
Summit Racing Equipment Mid-West Drag Racing Series Gears Up for Massive Double-Race Weekend at Throwdown in T-Town
TULSA, OK — The Throwdown in T-Town has always been a massive event, but this year’s fall race will be a supersized version of the 
Summit Racing Equipment Mid-West Drag Racing Series presented by J&A Service at the Osage Casino Hotel Throwdown in T-Town.
Starting Thursday, the series will conduct two races over three days at Tulsa Raceway Park, offering double the payout, double the opportunity to win and the same festive atmosphere that has made the Throwdown such a mainstay in the area and the MWDRS.
After two races were canceled earlier this summer due to weather, MWDRS officials made the decision to make the annual fall stop in Tulsa a double race. The first will take place Thursday and Friday, while the second race will end on Saturday, presenting a thrilling opportunity to see twice the action in Pro Mod, Top Alcohol Funny Car, Top Sportsman and Top Dragster, the Jr. Dragster classes and much more in one massive weekend.
